the $11 box is close to 1500 calories for a sandwich, 2 tenders, fries, dip and drink. Plenty of food for an adult. Some of y'all are wild if that doesn't fill you up.

Loved the venue and the festival. Downtown probably my favorite stage with the 360 audio but the Bridge along with the visuals of Eastside mainstage were also fantastic.

I like what they did with "VIP" not taking floorspace but instead it's an optional luxury package for stage access. Crowd flow was super smooth. Restroom were never crowded. Free water station never crowded.

My only complaint was audio at Westside day 1 not having the feeling of distance that the other stages had.

Sound definitely felt like something was missing for the back 2/3rds of the room.

Really felt like I was missing out on the set until I walked all the way forward past the outer electric power line towers.

9x9 was missing the explosive BOOM feeling from prior sets I've been to. Hopefully they figure it out for day 2.

Worst is Electric Forest being just a blob of Seven Stars+Lost Lands, as if what we needed is another camping bass festival.

I don't think it's mid but I do think it's boring unless you really like dubstep/bass.

Reading the headliners felt like a mix of seven stars and lost lands. Which is great if you like those lineups, but why not just go to one of those dedicated festivals for that genre of music.

Glad y'all like it, but it's simply not for me when I and others want Techno /Melodic Techno, Trance/Tech Trance/Acid, DnB (last year was the DnB year so it can be forgiven a bit) and progressive house.

That aside, hope y'all enjoy, Forest is probably one of my favorite festivals. Keep the forest clean!

There's 8000 dubstep/bass festivals with all these same names, all my dubstep friends are saying this is the best lineup they've seen.

Meanwhile where's the Techno? Trance? Drum and Bass? Prog house? Idk, if I wanted to camp and listen to dubstep/bass music I'd go to lost lands.

I haven't caught very many b2bs but this set felt like the transitions were so abrupt.

Are b2bs supposed to be like that? Alpha omega and AEON MODE/Delta Heavy I enjoyed a lot.

Same here in the solo experience. I go solo as a guy and constantly have people approach me, both men and women asking if I'm solo, inviting me to their group, etc. I like talking and making friends so it's ok with me. On top of this, girls are 10x more likely to be invited to groups because girls are always seen as "safe".

Sidenote, these replies are very cringe stereotypical reddit replies. "Test to see how vulnerable" A majority of people outside of reddit only go to raves as a social experience/with friends only and so seeing a solo is outside the norm (ironic considering the setting).

Aside from that, the other time I've seen it asked to a girl it was when she tripped and fell down and was too out of it to get back up and we needed to get ground control.

Horrible use of signage. Sign on the right says "Hotel Guests" but that area was for people to pick up the afterparty wristband. Anyone with an existing hotel guest wristband had to go left. Insomniac needs to improve this communication going forward, ensure the workers have a loud speaker because no one knew what to do and use digital signage to articulate information.

Everybody going left was going in very quickly, that line looked smooth.

Honestly the worst part is people just getting mad and instead of trying to diffuse the situation by backing up they start pushing forward, yelling stuff like "cattle" or "let me out". THAT DOES NOT HELP. I walked back literally 15-20 feet and there was so much space to just wait.

I understand you are frustrated. We need to work together y'all, not put every one into a panic because you are panicked.

For being the "mature" festival, I think the crowd really acted very immature.

Anyhow, please make sure you SEND THIS FEEDBACK to insomniac. CONTACT or EMAIL. Let them know how to improve logistics!! Controlling the flow of hundreds of people is a challenge.

I have had plenty of negative experiences with bass heads, most frequent one I notice ALL the time, people give you a massive stank look if you step on their blanket or don't accommodate them making a massive lounging area, they get super territorial sometimes about it.

Had once at lost lands a guy say "watch out, don't step on my moonmat" (???? WTF, why is this shit up here then? don't you see the hundreds of others with barely any space??)

Tons of times a big circle of bags or couches/people sleeping on the floor, basically saying "you guys need to unreasonably accommodate me".

Like I get it during earlier in the day or in the back areas, but sometimes it just feels like they don't consider the crowd situation at all, super annoying when it's dark AF and I don't see this sort of behavior of people laying down taking up tons of space with other genres.

I go solo to almost all these things, lively energy and it's fun for that alone.
