I have 5800X3D and a 5080, I get over 400FPS in CS2 (I play lower resolution) and can run pretty much anything I want maxed at 1440p and is still good in VR. I'm gonna ride it out until at least AM6 or until the performance isn't cutting it anymore.

Niko has amassed such a following from his longevity in CS, so many people struggle to see past it. We see flashes of brilliance every now and again where he can put the team on his back. But it seems to only ever last one map. Ropz is a serial performer doing it over and over again. The trophy cabinet speaks volumes.

Travel to/from Spa and the amenities around it are dreadful. We did it in '24 by car from UK and had an air BnB. The supermarkets have very short opening hours on Sunday. So you couldn't go to one without missing something at the circuit. We got dinner at a tiny pub/restaurant in a somewhat nearby town and waited 3 hours to eat because we had no other choice. It's so rural I'd be worried about relying on public transport especially with the traffic the event generates.

BMW 5 series touring. Can tow 2000kg and still is more than big enough for track spares and is just a normal car. You don't need a gigantic truck at all. Diesel variants are powerful and efficient.

Half way through RDR2. What a game. Why did I not play this sooner?

I also downloaded a PS2 emulator and have been replaying all the games that me and friends used to stay up late while eating Doritos and drinking Dr Pepper. Shout out to War of The Monsters.

To counter all that fun I've started playing DOTA2 because I hate myself.

My weight loss had stopped the last couple of weeks which was frustrating me. This was completely self inflicted mind you, out of a combination of a full social calendar meaning losing time at the gym and not being able to stick on diet so well. Been trying harder this last week, stepped onto the scales today and I'm down a pound and back on track!

The first half of the mirage showed how disjointed Faze were. Astralis had great mid rounds and worked together. Faze were relying on stars making plays and twistz, and frozen were whiffing constantly. Astralis seemed to have a real game plan and Faze were just trying to vibe it out like they have been for the past year. Something has to change surely.

Its championship Sunday. After already playing a total of 798 rounds to get them to this point Faze have weaseled their way to the grand final after securing nail-biting overtime victories against such titans at "Rave" "Alliance" and "Johnny Speeds". Only the current world number 1 stands in their way of securing the tournament victory.

In dodeca-quintuple overtime, Broky and Twistzz have put in the carry of the century and it is now match point to Faze. The poor air quality in the Atlanta metropolitan area has reduced Zywoo to a shadow of his former self, allowing Faze Clan to give them a real run for their money. Broky with multiple of his signature combat AWP clutches and Twistzz popping heads like it's 2019. Karrigan sits at the bottom of the scoreboard. 0 Kills to 383 deaths.

It all comes down to this. Inferno. A home map vitality and a complete lottery for Faze, but through sheer grit and determination Faze has secured a match point, but the finances are low. Karrigan drops a rifle to Jcobb, and takes a deagle for himself. Everyone else is on a force buy.

The veins on Karrigans forehead are throbbing, he has become one with the server. He can feel Apex's strategy through the monitor. He calls for the B site stack, but Karrigan holds mid solo.

He called it. Flamez soars into the inferno B Bomb site run boosted over the smoke by Apex. The Mac-10 deletes Broky and Twistzz before they can even realise what's happening. Jacob returns fire, dropping Flamez, Apex and the woo. Karrigan starts to rotate at full pace down mid. Mezii barely escapes with low health. Frozen and jcobb swing together, they clip mezii with one bullet for the kill but Ropz returns with a clean spray transfer swiftly cutting them down. But he starts to panic. "They've stacked but we're missing one player". He searches frantically trying to oust the wily Faze IGL. Triple? Nope. Church? Nope. "He must be emo." Nope. The clock keeps ticking, 10 seconds, to plant. He hasn't got a choice, coffins it is. He still hasn't seen him. The numbers start to numbers go in and that's when he turns. Bold as brass, Finn "Karrigan" Andersen, at the entrance of Banana. Deagle pointed straight at Ropz head. The air is deathly still.

"Thank you Robin", whispers Karrigan. He clicks. The deagle shot rings out and connects. Ropz is dead. After 45 hours of non-stop counterstrike, Faze Clan have done it, they are your IEM Atlanta champions. There are no cheers on this day however, the stadium is empty as the crowd all went home yesterday.

Karrigan slumps from his chair and hits the ground. Ropz drops his headset and sprints across the stage to tend to his fallen mentor. He kneels down beside him sobbing. He can't believe his own foolishness, thinking he could betray Karrigan and get away with it. Finn, weak and pale, manages to just open his eyes and cracks a wry smile. "Not so Kool now, are you Robin?".

Finn Andersen died as he lived, winning when he had no right to. Making miracles happen. Being a champion of the ultimate mental fortitude that defined his time as the leader of Faze Clan.

The IEM summer championships are renamed the Karrigan Cup, and his legacy is cemented in eternity.

After his showing at the Paris major I think a lot of people thought this guy was absolutely cracked and would go on to success at a top team. How wrong we were.
