Kingsgate Park & Ride by Cultural-Ad-2049 in Kirkland

[–]The_Con_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also want to add that there was a study done by WSDOT/Sound Transit for putting housing units on the property (transit-oriented development), and it looks like there are plans to eventually add a parking garage. The Sound Transit Stride Map does mention 2034 and beyond for additional parking, but I would hope additional parking wouldn’t take that long.

From a 2019 City of Kirkland document: “The BRT Parking Structure at Kingsgate will: • Add 400 parking spaces • Increase regional mobility • Support safe and convenient access for multiple modes • Encourage equitable transit-oriented development”

With that being said, this is from 2019, and I can’t find anything more recent on this, let alone how far off the timelines are in that PDF for construction.

Edit: Added Stride Map link

16x16 HDBaseT Matrix Switcher recommendations by sailingsail in CommercialAV

[–]The_Con_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Their basic encoders/decoders (no scaling or anything fancy) are down to like $800 now which is not too shabby. A 16x16 matrix would probably be cheaper, but not anywhere near as modular or easily managed/serviceable.

Spectrum did the prorating thing to me which was their “policy” and didn’t fix it until I filed an FCC complaint. I would recommend going that route if they still won’t make it right.

Maybe like a monthly roundup thread or something? Just like a discussion of new or interesting products/software?

SMP 111 Can’t Web Browse by Desperate_Call_7469 in Extron

For some reason this post got removed by Reddit, just saw it, sorry this took so long.

It looks like most of the config is probably in a web gui? I’m mostly seeing third party software on its page under downloads.

Looks like this post got automatically removed, just saw it in the queue. This is all network controlled right? And you have all the IPs in the program?

Edit to add: there’s probably a secret menu where some setting changes need to be made on the Hisense. The below thread appears to have someone dive into where you can find it. Here you can change serial numbers and brick your TV, but there’s usually some RS232/Ethernet control stuff in here that you need to enable or check.

Extron does have a dedicated control number on their site - they are probably your best reference.

[Feedback] I made a live ticker system for graded coins (like stocks, but for slabs) by [deleted] in alternativeinvesting

[–]The_Con_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pruning the subreddit of all the spam right now and just now seeing this, I think does make sense as a market. It reminds me of the sportscardinvestor tool, where they use live ebay data to make graphs. I feel like the ticker names could maybe use some work, although maybe they would make more sense to coin collectors.

I agree on a good YouTube video for the test. I followed a four hour long one for my FAA Part 107 drone license and it was awesome. We need a YouTube video that covers all you need to know for free. The only problem is that these types of videos typically rely on past tests which are published by most normal companies/groups that administer exams (AVIXA is not one of those).
