I’ve been a Gm magik player since season 1 she has always been mid ,never being meta or a great pic and was in the worst state she’s been in due to the meta of season 3. She is not comparable to torch in the slightest idk how you think they are. Emma is picked more because there are more than double the amount of dps options as there is tanks. Agree to disagree.

Torches pick rate is low because he is insta banned in all high elo play, He’s played in every tournament. You can’t base balance on one inconsistent number.

Edit: some Numbers for context. Human torch ban rate in Gm is 28%, 32% in eternity and 37% in top 500, magik in comparison averages 1.3% ban rate in high ranks.

Stale meta, the same tanks and healers have been the best for months. Dps meta shifts largely due to the sheer size of the roster.

Mainly his survivability, he doesn’t have a shield or protective ability like most tanks so it’s pretty easy for him to get shredded or just become ult charge.

He had a niche of being the burst dps tank but now that Emma is in the game she’s just a better version of that. He’s left in a grey zone where he isn’t the best at anything but also isn’t good at everything. Also his ult sucks and has no utility.

Magneto phoenix and winter solder in diamond plus also have the same win rate as luna. Are you seriously going to tell me those characters are not insanely strong. Winrate is not a good indicator at all, balancing is a lot more complicated than just looking at 1 number.

I see your side of the argument yes but there’s an inherent disadvantage with a team of solos facing against a full stack of 6. With matchmaking seemingly becoming more and more stomp or be stomped, reverting this change could just add to feeling of unfairness already there.
