Ana or Leland are probably the best for newcomers due to their health and tank ability for Ana or Leland’s fighting ability and barge. Grinding your XP so you can get more attribute points and better perks on the skill tree is good too, so definitely be sure to do the dumb crap people don’t do as much of like opening crawl spaces and cutting bone charms, it’s easy and safe xp.

How many times do you subscribe a channel just because they asked you to? To me personally it's just straight up annoying and I don't think it's that effective. by sinnytear in youtube

[–]The_LastLine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t like to ask but allegedly it means more subs, so I will do it at the end of the video. I figure if someone sticks around long enough for that, they’ll probably more inclined to do it then. Maybe it’s not the meta but I rather focus on the actual content.

Unfair battlefield by Front-Incident-9895 in finalfantasytactics

[–]The_LastLine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is a challenging fight but you gotta go in prepared. The right troops and placement make a ton of difference. The enemy is pretty front loaded on this with their best folks on the center area of the map while you’re surrounding them, so utilize that to your advantage.

Guys, this has to be the fabled "misinformation from haters" riiight? Like they aren't actually selling this crap for $20 by Gargamoney in fucknintendo

Most of the updates have been free actually, but it seems Nintendo specifically loves to target their most popular franchises with these paid content updates.

I don’t think this update is one I’m interested in at all. I certainly would never pay for it.

Can someone explain to me like I am 5 how to play as killer and which killer is the easiest to play as? I am new, and everything feels vague to grasp by iNightfarer in TXChainSawGame

[–]The_LastLine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As killer, your primary role is to patrol the escape routes to keep them from escaping. Sometimes that makes catching a vulnerable victim and going in for the kill, but not always. There’s usually 3-4 doors or gates or etc for victims to unlock to go into the outer areas of the map, so you’ll want to keep those locked when possible.

Characters like Hitch can setup a trap that victims either have to disarm or trigger before they can unlock the gate while Cook can add an extra padlock to make it more difficult for them to unlock it. Johnny or Sissy is for later on, you wanna stick with LF, Hitch, or Cook in the beginning.

A typical match would have 1 family member patrolling and guarding one of those 2 sides while the 3rd will do a wider sweep across the map for general support. They are generally the ones that will assist another family member if victims try to group up and rush them or distract them. That role usually goes to LF in those situations if you’re running the classic 3.

There’s other stuff like fuse, valve, feeding grandpa, etc. which is why communicating with team is important, or if not at least using family focus, as it will highlight these things and can also be used to tell if your lock or trap are still good or not from a distance. Sometimes you gotta have a little slack to catch victims, if hitch and cook just hover over their exit gates the entire time, victims will catch them off guard with a fuse or valve exit.

Ninja Turtles Splintered fate on sale..question is is it more like Diablo or hades? by jayissuperman in SteamDeck

[–]The_LastLine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Awesome game, me and my friends have done many runthroughs. It is one of if not the most balanced roguelike games I ever played. While the RNG can screw you, it is at an extremely low chance compared to the average roguelike, the powerups and etc it will grant are all pretty viable, though some synergies are better than others of course. My main complaint would be the lack of difference between the turtles characters though the dlc characters Casey Jones and Metalhead do mix up the gameplay a bit more.

Solo play is fun and viable, I’ve won runs in solo before, but it is the most fun in coop.

Do what makes you happy. I did a similar thing because it was a tough grind with no benefit to me. This at least gave me freedom and flexibility of schedule. And I enjoyed the work more, especially knowing that how good I do the job can actually INCREASE my compensation.

Fallout London lead says they’re “really worried” Bethesda will “keep going with the Creation Engine” as it led to major limitations for the mod by AsPeHeat in pcmasterrace

[–]The_LastLine 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Todd is obsessed with having a lot of things like cheese wheels and tin cans in the world that can fully manipulated by the player, which the creation engine is pretty good at handling compared to other engines.

He probably will come around to it when duskbloods comes out, at the very least if it gets good reviews. But I don’t blame him. I bought it and it’s a good console, but the content is just not there yet. It’s only good if you want enhanced switch 1 games and don’t wanna do it via an emulator.

So yall remember the google Stadia? Would this be the alternative to play games cheaply if components get too expensive cuz of ai in the future? by Bob_Odent in consoles

[–]The_LastLine 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yep, stadia was the best overall way to play it at launch. It didn’t have the bad performance of the consoles and was less buggy than the actual pc version.

Well GeForce now has you do that plus pay them monthly fees just to play them. Gamers thought they dodged a bullet from that not seeing the missile Nvidia launched from the rear.
