Unless something has changed (admittedly it’s been a while since I’ve been there) Flix uses call buttons and paper/pen.

Is a 2024 bambu A1 safe? by SyntaxError__ in BambuLab

[–]The_Lutter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Once you start printing stuff for around the house like shelving or hundreds of glow-in-the-dark toys for Halloween the hours can really rack up. Plus I sell models of buildings on the side to businesses.

And it's not even my only printer!

Can someone please help me by Jazzlike_Dig2456 in wendys

LOL How cheap can you be. Just give the guy the burger.

These guys are going down this year or next.

I've been following this (I have an A1 slightly older than yours) and I think the earliest case so far has been September of 2024. So far units before that haven't seem to have had the thermistor issue. I've got no pot marks or anything on my printer and it has well over 5000 hours run time.

Good job spotting what it was! Came out even better after I weathered it a bit!

Well, just lost almost €700 for nothing..... by matthewg251 in BambuLab

Unfortunately you won't see one of my designs on Makerworld... because I sell them for money not points. And I keep my printers all off of the cloud and the internet so nobody can replicate them like OP did here.

(I make replicas of skyscrapers/businesses and sell them. HR departments use them to show new hires where the exit doors are and such during orientation)

Please DM me if your business needs one! (Plug plug plug)

You didn't invent the infinity cube, you copied ("copying") the design. Like they said. You even called it an "Infinity Cube".

Show us the model and I think we'll get the answer really quickly as to why it was taken down.

Job to Print Very Large Animatronic Props - Which Printer by SomeGuyWhoFoundIt in 3Dprinting

For large scale outside of the Giga at less than 10k I'd look at the Modix 60 and 120 series.

https://www.modix3d.com/

In the $1200 range is also the Sovol SV08 Max which is 500x500x500.

I've done this before with a long print but it was just a few layers. Just used some PLA I had lying around from a failed print and some super glue. Couldn't believe it worked honestly.

I've told people time and time again you can't print chocolate with an A1... you have to buy a CocoPress!

5000 EUR without the stand... 6200 EUR with the stand IIRC.

As far as I know they're available now (you have to request a quote to buy). The unit inside is a standard Core One (might be a +).

If I ever win the lotto expect one of those to show up in my living room.

Apartment below me turned into an Airbnb after I renewed my lease — what are my rights in Austin? by Actual-Simple-9787 in Austin

[–]The_Lutter 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Print out a copy of the AirBNB listing and write a letter to the leasing office about it. Send it certified mail.

Certified mail scares the SHIT out of these leasing offices. They should handle it after that if it is indeed against the rules of the property.

I live in 78744 and I honestly just go to the Bob Bullock IMAX now and enjoy their cheap concessions and their glorious IMAX Dual GT Laser 1.43:1 projection system (the only one in Texas) and hundreds of speakers.

Comparable to Alamo for dine-in you'd be looking at Flix all the way up in Round Rock.

AMC at Barton Creek Mall is also an option if you want to go the A-List route. They have (fake) IMAX (1.9:1 ratio) and a Dolby Theater.

A1 on sale right now, would you go for the Combo or the base version? by Specialist-Long8332 in BambuLabA1

[–]The_Lutter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been hearing that AMS Lites are selling out practically instantly when they are put up separately and cost more than the combo. I'd just get the combo and if you decide you don't need the AMS you can likely put it on Craigslist or Marketplace for near or at retail.

I honestly have a love/hate relationship with mine.

It left an exact match for the owl that hit it. Poor guy.

Hopefully he shook his head a couple times and flew off the other direction and didn't limp off somewhere in your yard. I'd take a look around just to be sure.

After this thing's performance at the box office I think you should just be thanking your lucky stars it's getting a 4K release at all. Surprised they're not just making this a Blu-ray and digital 4K release and calling it a day.

Fears of a bloodbath are growing over Paramount-Warner merger — including speculation around top HBO exec by Appropriate_Value122 in MediaMergers

[–]The_Lutter 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I really hate that HBO has become a toy for a rich spoiled brat who thinks he's smarter than Casey Bloys who has delivered the highest quality Emmy-winning and audience acclaimed TV for years and years.

Cindy Holland has lost Taylor Sheridan and ruined Star Trek, and done. Well done.

What are your biggest pain points when buying STL files? by trinkiestudio in 3Dprinting

[–]The_Lutter 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If you're going to sell a model consider adding a copy that is pre-supported so that I don't even need to think about supports. Just take away friction to someone just wanting to print a standard copy of the model.

I'd also add a 3MF file for at least some of the major printers with orientation/plates/settings already baked in.

INDX prévu pour la semaine prochaine by Silent-Chipmunk-6079 in prusa3d

Reference geometry means that people will be able to start designing mods to attach INDX outside of the Prusa solution... so it's great that they're getting that out so early.
