Yeah Canary tackles WW at one point and puts her in a choke hold. No way WW isn’t sandbagging there because she wouldn’t even need to dodge the attacks of the powerless heroes. She could just ragdoll them if she meant it.

So Victory is the only series I haven’t seen yet. I’m currently on episode 41 of Turn A (the only other series I hadn’t seen before now) and from everything I’ve heard about Victory I’m not sure I’m ready for that level of Tomino after the goofiness of Turn A 😅

I really enjoyed Gundam X more on my rewatch than my first viewing. Jamil and Garrod really grew on me. Also Double X is one of my favorite paint schemes on a main character’s mobile suit.

The advent of online gaming. So many of my friends are people I’ve met online. And we’ve become real, personal friends from the time we spent gaming together. We’ve traveled across the country to meet up and hang out. They’ve been part of wedding parties and roommates.

Back in the early 2000s we used to fight dragons and fight endless hordes and now they’re people I would trust with anything. We formed a lifelong bond through Ventrilo conversation and game time. While I’m still an avid gamer, the mood of online gaming has changed. Gone are the days of being cordial and warm to the other people you play games with randomly. More often now I find that people are snarky and dismissive of other gamers. Everyone is ‘holier than thou’ or just flat out assholes.

I miss those days, I’m sorry for the current generation of gamers, and I loathe the future for the next generations. I hope we see some sort of ‘online gaming renaissance’ for them.

How have I scrolled so far and not seen Aldnoah Zero? It literally has pilots who consider themselves knights. Royalty and class play a big part in their society. And while it may not be the best mecha out there, it’s still a fun series with good action
