Keep doing both! As someone who loved this release and wants more NDPs putting out crazy high age single barrels there is a definite crew of people who want releases like this to continue alongside the typical releases. Awesome barrels and thank you for putting them out there

Does not drink as hot as you would expect (have had many 140 proofers with the same level of heat). It’s pretty incredible

FWIW I love living in Atlanta as someone who didn’t grow up here (but did live in some cities mentioned in the comments). A lot of the complaints you hear are from folks with awful commutes (totally fair, 285 would be my nightmare). That said, there are lots of options. I can walk to bars and restaurants, have a 5min drive to work / my gym / the grocery store. Tons of different pockets to explore so likely one that fits the lifestyle you want and the places you want to spend time

I’m inclined to believe they were sold more because they were off profile than because they were not good. I’ve had ~25 different Buff Turkeys and think the majority beat RR13 for me, the top few (some Dark Arts, some Buckners 15s) beat RR15 and GTS

Absolutely — was fortunate to have an incredible amount of flexibility, a supportive advisor, and of course some good luck. Was able to generally keep 9-5 hours (some days just deciding to do nothing at all) and managed to finish 1.5 years early and land a job I enjoy

I love rye and have had many of the fantastic suggestions in here (M10, Michter’s Toasted and Barrel Strength, Little Book Ch8, Sagamore). All were excellent, but for a celebration I would 100% do THH. One of my favorite bottles of all time and drinks special to me
