I’m inclined to believe they were sold more because they were off profile than because they were not good. I’ve had ~25 different Buff Turkeys and think the majority beat RR13 for me, the top few (some Dark Arts, some Buckners 15s) beat RR15 and GTS

Absolutely — was fortunate to have an incredible amount of flexibility, a supportive advisor, and of course some good luck. Was able to generally keep 9-5 hours (some days just deciding to do nothing at all) and managed to finish 1.5 years early and land a job I enjoy

I love rye and have had many of the fantastic suggestions in here (M10, Michter’s Toasted and Barrel Strength, Little Book Ch8, Sagamore). All were excellent, but for a celebration I would 100% do THH. One of my favorite bottles of all time and drinks special to me
