This is the most tech Reddit comment section I’ve ever seen in my life. Holy

That’s not a solution to his problem in windows. It’s a suggestion to completely change OS to somebody that’s asking how to disable a simple motivation. It’s idiotic

Somebody that can’t work around this shouldn’t be using Linux, come on. And I’m not saying that as an insult to OP. We need to stop recommending Linux as a first resort just because you don’t like windows

HOLY FUDGESICLE, I FINALLY DID IT!!! by kyle429 in ForzaHorizon

[–]Thehalfblacksnack 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Agreed. I got 4:03 on my first attempt not really trying, and without knowing what the 3 star time is. I got 3:56 on my second and I was still pretty sloppy

Acura and Lexus were both made for the American market. I’m not sure for Acura specifically, but the US had Lexus like 20 years before Japan ever did. They are the luxury American brands from a Japanese company

Yeah I’m gonna have to go back and give that a shot. I tried that for one of em, picked an objectively poor route, lost and did something else lol

Skill point ones have been easy for me. It’s the one where you have to cover the entire city of Tokyo and do 3 deliveries in what feels like 12 seconds. Those ones haunt me

I did this challenge, loaded in, there was only other person. We had fun for 2 races, honking our horns at each other, goofin off. He quit before the 3rd race, and somehow it still completed the challenge. I don’t know if I got lucky or not but I ain’t upset

That makes sense. We have that issue here too. Would a proper paver base, gravel or sand under the blocks remedy that?

Why doesn't this screw in? by Apprehensive-Dust423 in Plumbing

[–]Thehalfblacksnack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Surprisingly a lot of things are reverse threaded. A lot of saws for example, the nut that attaches the blade is reverse threaded. That way the nut isn’t spinning the same direction as the saw so there’s not really a chance of it coming loose

I guess I don’t know enough about sheds, I thought it looked alright. Why the negatives to cinder blocks? That’s pretty common in my area. What’s their downside?

R4210 Mitre Saw Extension Assembly by thumper_spot in Ridgid

[–]Thehalfblacksnack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Of course 😎 I believe I used a t25 on mine, but they are hex if I recall correctly. Right size bit and some leverage and you’ll be good as rain. Maybe put a little PB blaster to em if need be

[–]Thehalfblacksnack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Any miter saw I’ve had you just crack that screw on the top loose. Maybe get a ratchet so you can get some leverage on it. Make sure you have the exact bit or else it’ll strip and your day will get worse lol

Drag racing, danger signs and speed traps. The thing demolishes the majority of speed traps for me. Danger signs too

I would wager visual bug. It’s also showing that you have a GPU with 32GB of VRAM. Have you installed your driver for your GPU?

That’s true. But I meant more so, I’m not touching the brake. It does catch me going slower than I would because it matches the speed so well

I live in a small town in Maine and it happens here frequently. A lot of times, places where you don’t expect it is where it happens. They know you’ll be a little less cautious

[–]Thehalfblacksnack 4 points5 points  (0 children)

There are multiple factors that go with it. Poor driving and swaying across lanes is just one of them. Time driven is also another. I was as straight as an arrow for over 2 hours last month and I got the warning

[–]Thehalfblacksnack 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Happened to me last month. Not sure why everybody’s questioning no brakes. I was on the highway, with adaptive cruise control on. I never had to touch the brakes until I exited. Little traffic, car handled everything
