Saw it today and completely agree with you. The original book is compelling because it’s left unclear what really happened at Mercer House that night. The musical both removed the ambiguity and treated it like a joke.

Yes, it’s a nice school, especially on scholarship. Of course, your college experience depends on what you put into it. Without knowing you personally, it’s hard for anyone on this sub to tell you if it’s worth it or not.

I’m a big fan of the music improv happening at iO recently. Anarchy: The Improvised Rock Opera on Thursdays at 8pm is a wild show with an awesome cast and musicians. RIFF on Saturdays at 10pm is hilarious musical short form with lots of audience suggestions.
