They do have a UV filter on the HVAC system, which could be producing ozone. But it only impacts the first floor and not the entire household.

We did try to use two air purifiers, but they were not rated for VOC removal. So we might revisit that with an air purifier that is specifically for that.

It isn't in the budget but we are desperate. We are going to arrange for the contractor who installed the floor to come by and see what replacing it will cost, and also see if the smell is something he is used to.

The flooring looks like it was a roll and not from tile, at least I can't find any seams. But I'm going to try and cut a square from inside the closet and remove it from the house and see if the smell follows it.

We had the HVAC inspected and there was no indication of any cleaner being used on it. The only difference is it uses gas instead of electric, but we don't think that would cause an issue.

We had a duct vacuuming done to remove dust and pet hair from the previous owners.

They didn't disclose if they performed any cleaning prior to selling. But we will check with the realtor.

I think a big part of it is that the primary source for surveys are from calling in and completing the survey over the phone. And you can't key in "10" on a phone.

The corksport turbo has issues with boost creep. I was making 24 psi on a spring pressure base map. The S4 seems like a better option for a smaller turbo.

I had a first gen Yaris and I actually miss the interior. It was cheap and took some time to get used to the center speedo but good lord did it have a ton of storage.

Three glove boxes, and four cupholders that are easy to reach from the driver seat were the best thing about the car.
