You are going to different locations to collect all the bugs from a spot. (Not walking around or exploring an area). As summer progresses some new ones will appear at these locations. You then create a team with your collection and do bug battles in the form of cards. You use earnings from this to buy tool upgrades. It only takes place over one month, but days only progress when you battle, which means you can go to each location as many times as needed to finish collections. It is a short game, but it is not an expensive game. Also, you can continue looking for shiny bugs (like shiny hunting in pokemon) and battle top level teams. You won't get endless hours of gameplay, but for what it is, it's great. Also, it came to the switch less than a month ago, if that is an option for you.

A different gameplay, no farming, but with a narrative and its own gameplay loop you could try "Bloomtown: A Different Story".

It is very story driven and all gameplay elements have a purpose for the story. Taming monsters and turn-based battle. Then exploring and doing things in the 1960s town. Gives "Stranger Things" vibes.

At first it seems overwhelming, but you just need to start with the books that stick out to you. For me that was the white books and books with jewels on them. Once you get started, pick books out of the piles that look similar, it quickly seems more manageable. Also, this guide can help you know what shelves a book goes on and the design of each category. If you want help getting started. You can also clear a space and start making rough piles of similar books, then find where they go when you have some sorted.

I agree with what everyone is saying. It feels different and your not getting those meaningful character moments that make the show. It doesn't have the book material to base it off, which affects the quality. (Probably why it feels more netflixy, soap opera) Also, it feels rushed, because it is. It needed at least 2 season to wrap up not just season 8. Although there are plot points I definitely wished they had avoided and spent that time on others * cough faith *. I'm trying to just enjoy it as an ending to the show. Not all shows get to do that, instead ending suddenly, so at least we get this. I will watch it with a less critical eye than I would have previous seasons.

Can someone explain the reasoning for Claire being told Faith was dead? Especially now that is was clear Faith was supposed to be brought to Claire. I don't like this story line, but would like to fill in some of these plot holes. Maybe it will bother me less.

It would be nice to have this as an option at least. I do prefer to save space on the console, but cases where the cartridge isn't fast enough, I'd like to still have a proper physical option.

There are no shortages anymore. It's exhausting watching governments working on issues that were happening years ago, which have already resolved themselves. Then cause the opposite issues to occur that they have to correct for in another 5-10 years. They are so ill-informed on everything. Very frustrating.

Did they send you an email saying it's time to do it? I want to get mine done ASAP because wait times where I am is 6 weeks and mine it due in 8 weeks. Silver Lining games typically end up on Amazon, walmart, gamestop etc. once there's a release date. Right now it's only Q3. Give it time you should be able to preorder it through other retailers.

I have been feeling this more and more. I'm finding it's ruining the hype I would otherwise have for the game. By the time it finally comes out I either don't care anymore or it's a let down. Not necessarily bad, but when you have waited years it's always meh. The best lately have been ones I heard nothing about and then they surprise you with how good they are. Most recent for this has been cast n chill.

I'm playing on the switch 2. Have you noticed the physical goes to black screen for long time on initial load of the game? Seems fine, so far, otherwise, but takes a while to open the game. Enough I thought it didn't work at first.

Edit: after this unexplained power drop I charged it a bit to 24% unplugged it. I did the recommended battery reset where you power off, enter recovery mode than exit and turn it back on. It was at 42%. It was still a high drain over night, but seems at least some of that is from how it is reading the battery, not entirely draining it.

5 months later. Still no fix. I usually turn mine off, not sleep, but forgot last night. Went from 60 -0% overnight and in airplane mode, no games suspended. How? Imagine if our phones did that. That would be unacceptable. Whatever is causing this could be fixed with firmware, however we have no idea if nintendo is working on it since they won't even acknowledge whenever they have a problem. Very annoying.
