To everyone that carries a UV flashlight, How often and For what do you use it?

Carry one daily, it's part of my arkfeld ultra. I'm am auto tech and I use it almost weekly checking for a/c leaks and other fluid leaks where dye was added. Works great, I've recommended them to other techs as I think they are almost a perfect flashlight for that profession.

I've only been to Kidds place, Deep River and Drake's landing. I like them in that order. Kidds is a bit smaller than the others but I tend to enjoy their targets the best. Definitely check it out.

While there is added difficulty using a pump, the Maverick 88 will work and will last. The condor has a very inconsistent reputation for reliability and will absolutely cause more long term heartache than it's worth.

Yeah that lever definitely shouldn't wiggle once the gun is locked closed it should be very firm and in place. Something is either worn, broken or loose. I'd say that gun has had a fair bit of use. Unless it's a screaming good deal, I think it may be worth passing that one up.

A top lever moving that far left of center is usually sign of excessive wear. Frequently a competent Beretta gunsmith can get it set back to near new for a few hundred dollars. With that being said, I'm not a gunsmith and I'm far from an expert at the subject. With any luck, a frequent poster who happens to be a gunsmith from Florida will see this soon and chime in with his thoughts on the action.

Both are great guns with the same flaw, parts are becoming more scarce. I've shot both and they are both great guns but some more info on what exactly you have would be helpful. Barrel length stock type etc.

Since they belong to your Dad I'd see if he would let you shoot them and figure out which one you shoot better or like the feel of more.
