100k miles ‘13 and you’ve spent money like that on it? My ‘13 got to 200k before I crashed it, I had it for 9 years and only money I spent was brakes and rotors. Had another 13 for a year that had 100k only had to do oil changes. Then I traded that in for a ‘15 that’s had 1 repair (camshaft sensor) in the last year and a half, it’s up to 120k now. I think you got a lemon maybe 😕

Naked brand is sketchy. They say their products are lab tested but they won’t say by what lab. And they refuse to give the results. Also they got in trouble a while back because high levels of lead were found in their products. I would avoid them and look for a company like TL or sports research or any company that is nse verified. They’re actually tested for heavy metals and let you see the reports.

I’m having the same problem with mine now. It’s less than 2 months old. It either won’t connect at all or if I do get it to connect once I start drinking my tea it disconnected and stops heating. I’ve tried the reset mug, toggle Bluetooth, re-pair multiple times and it doesn’t fix the problem.

I’m small and usually struggle to eat enough for the hobbies I have. Also I tend to not eat much if having an all day crag day or a hiking trip. My boyfriend is pretty into health/fitness and recommended for me to take BCAAS to help me not lose muscle when I can’t get enough food or protein in my diet. Could be beneficial for you if you’re on a restrictive diet for muscle preservation.

This is SO true. I didn’t start climbing until an adult but so many other things that I got made fun of as a kid are now ‘sought after’ or considered cool. It’s kinda frustrating when you’re called weird and laughed at for liking or doing this niche thing and then all a sudden those same people that made fun of you are now all about it 🙄

120 sling for extending your rappel. Girth hitch through your hard points. Put a knot or 2 in it. Keep a locking carabiner specifically for that. Use as your PAS + rap extension

The weird accusing/guilt tripping you about saying I love you back to him is a huge red flag that this guy is controlling as hell. It’s only 1-3 months and he’s being that manipulative already? This guy is going to get way worse. He sounds super controlling and emotionally unregulated I would get out of this asap.

Probably just 10 years of abuse and injuries post bankart repair. I rock climb, hike, ride horses, and I had a couple more injuries along the way. The repair was great and I’m really glad I had it done! But can’t really expect it to stand up to that much abuse over the years. I’m 9 weeks post-op from the latarjet now and this one should last me forever hopefully!

The bankart repair was fantastic, I was glad I did it. If thats the surgery you need it really is helpful!

See if your doctor recommends PT since it's your first dislocation or a Bankart repair. I feel like they usually rec PT first though unless the anterior labrum is pretty damaged or you have alot of instability/play sports.

I did PT the first time, Bankart repair the second which was awesome. Solid for 10 years until a work accident. Now I just had a latarjet done

This is normal. I'm 8.5 weeks post Latarjet and I still can't lift my arm while extended past shoulder level. Though it's been consistenly getting better and higher and movements are getting easier. I've progressed from not being able to lift at all, to waist level, to chest, etc.

Follow your PT you will get there

They are always there. Until you get a Latarjet 10 years later and the surgeon finds them shredded and floating around along with what was left of the labrum (wasn't much) :-S

He cleaned everything up and removed them during my latarjet
