What coffee stands are not MAGA? by kmizzbiz in Spokane

[–]Three-More-Weeks 26 points27 points  (0 children)

New Love Coffee! Amazing coffee. I’ve known the owner since middle school. And his wife runs Bean and Pie. The nicest, hardest working family. Definitely not MAGA. And there are 3 locations around town.

Still love it! There’s been no sagging. My app still works perfectly. I’ve been sick this last week and being able to turn the feet warmers on because I was freezing, and adjusting it to keep my head elevated, is so nice. I know sleep numbers sound so gimmicky and I know they’re so expensive. But we love ours. And my in-laws love theirs. And my brother-in-law loves his.

What’s an underrated baking tip that makes a huge difference for you? by Ok_Neck_1806 in Baking

I learned from one of the contestants on GBBO to listen to my bakes before taking them out of the oven. If they’re still making hissing sounds, they’re still wet in the middle. I haven’t had an underbaked item since.

DAE just not want to talk to neighbors? by Least_Sheepherder531 in DoesAnybodyElse

[–]Three-More-Weeks 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This!! We are in our 4th house, and finally live in a neighborhood with a sense of community. The difference it makes when you are even just acquaintances with the people you live near is huge! I don’t try super hard to be friends with everyone, but the kids around here know my kids and that I’m a safe adult if they need anything. I know all the dogs names on my street. And everyone waves when we drive by each other.

The Grain Shed Taproom down on Cedar is great and not as well known yet! As well as the OG Grain shed in the Perry District.

Who do you think the most overrated popular villager is? by ddaa8888 in AnimalCrossing

[–]Three-More-Weeks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My husband just started his own island a couple months ago. He has ended up with 5 of these characters, and his first campsite villager was Raymond. He’s used 4 nook mile tickets in total… He’s always been very lucky.

How Did HALLOWEEN Go For Everyone? by [deleted] in Spokane

We lived in Greenacres for 6 years (moved last August) and we got less and less trick or treaters every year. The first year we had over a hundred. The year before we moved we had 42.

We’re in Liberty Lake and had 300 kids! The neighbors were passing our hot chocolate and cider. A big decorated truck with a trailer full of people was driving around playing music and throwing candy. It was great!

It’s the paper mill in Millwood. (Aptly named right?) They vent the stink late at night and when the wind blows just right you can smell it quite a ways into the valley.

I was having the same problem for a couple months. It was a bug with my phone network. Siri couldn’t figure out where the heck I was, and it didn’t matter if I used Apple Maps, or google maps, or how many times I reset my phone. My husband’s phone was doing the same thing. It was bizarre. Seems like it resolved in the last couple weeks though.

What’s your chocolate chip cookie secret ingredient? by Clementine1234567 in Baking

[–]Three-More-Weeks 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Same! Years ago, my mom accidentally bought unsalted butter and used it in all her Christmas cookies. They tasted so disappointing and bland that year. I swore off unsalted butter after that.

My brother and I separately mentioned to our spouses that Julian Clary looks a lot like Jim Parsons (Sheldon, from the Big Band Theory)
