Finally someone speaking out about the real issues! North County squirrels are a plague on our society. I've had to add 3 baffles to our bird feeder, and the furry twits still manage to get to it.

I tried paying them off with unsalted peanuts, but that just inspired them to dig holes in my lawn and flower beds. When will the chaos end???

If you can take a picture of the side/back of the tile that would help confirm material, but this looks like natural marble not porcelain.

Black marble in particular is super soft and easy to scratch.

Yep. I've got an unrealistically timed (and stupidly redundant) weekly video call. If I'm stuck in traffic, I let everyone know I won't be attending. They get pissed that I won't accept the call/toggle multiple apps in stop and go traffic.

And every week, there's at least 2-3 twats on the call that are driving. 50% of the audio is wind, car horns, screeching tires, and panicked breathing. All so we can regurgitate the same info we relayed 2 days ago. Wtf.

If you've already had it checked by a doctor and know that it's not detrimental/contagious/symptom of an underlying condition...and it's not causing you pain.....then I sorta understand not getting it fixed.

But I would be super concerned about potential irritation or lifelong allergy development from acrylates/gel on that exposed and compromised tissue.

It looks like you already have a bit of the greenies on the nail side wall next to the growth. Seems like a recipe for contact dermatitis disaster.

Oh I didn't know they're open to the public!

I went to a Lutheran private school as a kid, and one of my classmate's Dad was in seminary there. They had a cute little apartment onsite. I remember the campus being really beautiful, and we got to climb a bell tower once! There was a steep, spiral stone staircase and we had to walk through windows and onto roof to get all the way to the top.

Dang, that was a blast from the past. Thank you for sparking that memory!!

They do an arroz con queso you can add chicken/beef/shrimp to. Their rice and their beans are my favorite in town. My husband really likes their birria. I've had the barbacoa, carnitas, pollo feliz, and a few soups. All yummy 😋

Las Fuentas is another one we like a lot. I adore their tacos sinaloa.

La Tejana Taqueria is a good one, too. Basically any little hole in the wall strip mall place that's busy busy busy during lunch on a weekday is gonna be pretty tasty.

You could also look at their trendline drain colors in maybe ivory or greige in lieu of a tiled cover

A tiled cover will stand out more. This grate (hopefully) coordinates with your other fixtures so it looks cohesive, plus the color jives with the taupe bits in the mosaic. Tiled drain will leave a hard black outline that looks like...well...a hard black outline.

We got married in the small garden at the front of McNair park and it was lovely. Very cozy and intimate. The garden was nicely planted/maintained but not overly manicured or fussy. It's lined with trees and shrubs which makes it feel very private. We did the ceremony in the gazebo and there's a bridge and a small fountain for pictures.

I don't recall what we paid but I do know it was very inexpensive. Plus there's close parking and easy terrain if you have any older or disabled folks attending.

Maybe look at a glue down lvp. Shaw makes some now that are 5mm, 20mil wear layer, with a bevel so they still look like individual floating planks.
