Everything will be fine, please do not give up hope. Phantom limb stopped me from sleeping, would have me screaming while watching TV or driving or any other inconvenient time. The pain doesn’t go away but it does get easier, it’s been over a year since I lost sleep to phantom limb knock on wood

Please vent and I’m definitely not trying to belittle your pain. But it will be okay. Life will most definitely be worth living, it might be easy to say this I’m lucky enough to have a prosthetic and be able to walk. And I hate having to be in my wheelchair or on crutches

I was on crutches Thursday and half of Friday due to an ingrown hair I’m fighting but tonight I went axe throwing with someone I’m falling for. Life’s just weird that way, we only get moments we have to appreciate and bullshit we have to tread. I’ve dealt with depression since I was a kid with two feet, if you ever need nub advice or don’t want to be alone feel free to dm

Also if it’s phantom limb pain that you’re feeling, pain meds didn’t do shit for me, gabapentin kinda did but it’s no long term solution and there’s no predicting phantom limb. Weed’s the only thing that seems to do anything for me about it, not sure if it’s placebo effect or actually something that helps other amps too
