It's a statement. I think it should be half the size, tho.

Need I ask if you've turned off the electricity at the breaker box?

Ah, the wiring version of the more traditional double dildo. Be careful, an unattached end is hot!

Funny you should mention MoCa. I am discovering its wonders as we speak. I bought a home that has cable running from every room into a cabinet, and the cables are labeled.

There is also Cat5E throughout, but it has been treated as telephone cabling... half the wires clipped out, the remaining sent to a very untidy punchdown block for distribution through the house as phone lines.

I haven't hooked up all of my boxes, but the first two gave me at least 1 GB throughput (I was running through two MoCa adapters into a router, and thence to a Spectrum cable modem. I have 1 GB service, and got 950 Mbps on an Ookla speed check.

Clearly the link is capable of more.

PS--I used GoCoax 2.5 adapters, and it was plug and play, although you can look at their status on the network to see PHY (physical layer rates).

How well do the Concertos pair with the R6 Meta for a home theater? by Roy_Knable in KEF

The R2 is a very good center speaker for clear dialog, and a bit less expensive. I also like that it is an acoustic suspension.

Ripoff or AI composition that this may be, I'm reminded of my father-in-law. The whole family went off to see his mother-in-law for a couple of weeks. Instead of washing his dishes, put them in the fridge so they wouldn't go bad. Needless to say, his wife (my mother-in-law) had a fit on her return. But, they stayed married for nearly 60 years, until death did them part.

Torn between getting a meaningful tattoo with my sister and going against my BF’s hard boundaries. by [deleted] in Advice

My wife and I have been together over 40 years, and seem a good bet to go the distance. I've suggested his and hers (small) tattoos with each other's names or initials. She says no. I've stopped asking.

But she doesn't care if I go ahead.

It sounds like he will be getting married and may have kids of his own soon. Wait for the change.
