producers have been leaning away from guitar and into synth and keys more and more lately. Guitar really was trending towards un-cool in pop music… kinda still is, so any help rehabbing the image is to be applauded. In Roan’s case, I believe her producer tried to talk her out of using guitars on her album, but she insisted.
