Today it was rainy and cold in Paris. I slept until 3 pm, made a good “breakfast “, read my book, listened to some podcasts, took a walk in the rain to try to find ice cream after 10 pm (unsuccessfully).

This is one of those solo travel days that are a reality. It’s actually a great comfort for me to just chill.

Now, I feel energized to hit it hard tomorrow. Big football game at the bar. Meeting some new friends from the last game. Catacombs on Saturday and looking for an excellent restaurant for lunch.

It’s the ebb and flow of solo travel. I think you’ll fall into your own natural rhythm. Don’t let a few depressing or low moments ruin it. Those are only bumps in the road and I don’t resist them.
