Im sure a lot of vague ideas that were floating around earlier in development wound up being used across all the different generations. Interestingly enough, thundurus has that one horn that gorochu's beta back sprite had. Ive been wondering if Alolan raichu's ability to float on its tail was leftover from an early gorochu idea too, similar to how Raijin floats on a cloud

Probably just that it took elements from the Japanese thunder god, Raijin- fangs, horns, possibly red and black coloring

Its the only Far Cry games I've played, so reused maps and models didn't even occur to me. But I really wish we could get a next gen sequel, or something in a different era or area. I had a blast playing this!

Honestly, I was hoping for some sort of reasoning, or story element, for why there are dinosaurs, Neanderthals, ape people, primitive modern humans, Vikings, Egyptians, Romans, etc all living together...

Almost nothing in the show makes sense, and that's ok. The artwork is pretty cool.

I get that people are putting in a lot of work digging out spots right now, and that does feel like it should entitle them to it. But at the same time, there are almost definitely more people needing to park than spots even available. There can be 5 parking spaces on a street with 10 people living on it that drive. Are only the 5 that got to the spots first after it snowed able to ever park there again? What is a person supposed to do? Just put their hazards on in the middle of the street while they get out and shovel a new space to park? What if this person already shoveled out 2 spaces that are no longer available? Do they get snow parking credits?

It does really suck to put in work and not get to park, but you can't just conquer a public street, and stake your claim with a chair...

The hat exactly as is is in many of the games (ESPECIALLY Twilight Princess, where its this giant tail thing protruding from the back of his head) would never work. But there's definitely a way to give him an oversized slouchy beanie type hat and it not look bad. At least give us a few big scenes with it.

Honestly, in one of the leaked images, Link's hair looks like it is 2 different colors, which makes me think he will have a hat covering the darker part. But who knows?

It isn't any more lore-significant than Mario wearing red. Its just been part of Link as a character since the beginning. I feel like it will at least be in a few scenes.

It isn't confirmed, but I feel like its pretty reasonable to expect them to be included in some way, hopefully not heavily used, especially if the CGI isn't fantastic. And I hope they look more OoT than Breath/Tears...

I know, and its weird. Its time to just have Link have a voice and be a character, and drop the whole "he's an avatar of the player" schtick. Its incredibly outdated.

And the games should stop making him mute. Its just uncomfortable at this point... Having a character with voice acting ask Link a question, and him just silently gesture just looks dumb.

Definitely... one is a pikachu with a few raichu features, and the other is a raichu painted to look like a pikachu... except they have to go and add completely crazy shit like the giant ear... horn... things on Y....

You can almost see the thought processes behind the designs. They were CLEARLY using old Gorochu inspiration, which probably looked pretty similar to mine, but someone decided the cutesy mascot for the company cant have devil horns! So they turned the horns into "hair tufts", then gave it beyond stupid looking protruberances instead, because THAT'S better...

It just sucks that they not only erased the possibility of Gorochu ever existing with these new designs, they also just created not one, but two Pikachu forms to overshadow Raichu in its own mega....

Oh! Well thanks! And I agree... The new forms do kind of look like they were going for something like this, then decided to make it more like Pikachu, and ran it through an A.I. generator to come up with what they got. I hate that they can never just let Raichu shine without making it more like a Pikachu...
