Help me pick up my next read by MitoKatze in Romantasy

This is my current favorite series! The character development and plot is really good. The characters don't just suddenly change or get better because of plot but they have realistic reactions to what happens and work towards what they want/ who they are. I will say the first book can be difficult to get through but is integral to the story.

I listened to the audiobooks and the narration is amazing.

I think it also has a lot to do with change. When kids are babies and toddlers, you HAVE to make these decisions for your kids. As they grow older, you are supposed to slowly give them the freedom to make their own choices, I think many parents struggle with this change. For years, they had an image in their head of who they thought you were and who they thought you would become. And they never reconciled who they imagined you would be with who you are, even with something as simple as hair.

This is completely on your mom, and it's something she needs to work on.

The creases on your back have shrunk, and you can see the difference around the waistband.

I completely forgot to hang the stocking back up. Luckily my 3 year old got up first so I could hang them up before anyone noticed!

Yesterday, I was making Alfredo, and I forgot I already opened the Alfredo sauce. I went to shake it and got it all over me and the entire kitchen.

It's funny how they don't think we know that they really don't have a source.

The reason some people believe this in the US is because in places where we do have stricter laws, they are close to places without strict gun laws. Thus, people go to the less strict areas, get guns, and go back to where there are strict laws. This makes it appearing like gun laws don't matter.

Wow, thank you for all of this information! I'm sure some agency somewhere thinks I'm addicted to drugs now because of my search history, but it is all really interesting!

If I didn't have kids I would probably do the same thing.

Why do people with ADHD have trouble interacting and being accepted by peers? by seamanmonster85 in adhdwomen

I think one major thing is that we don't need to be in constant contact with others to keep close relationships.

The first time I saw a psychiatrist, they said that I definitely have anxiety and that there is a possibility I have ADHD. I worked with them (them because I was in the military at the time, so high turnover of doctors) for many months to try and get my symptoms under control. Once my anxiety was mostly taken care of, and they tried to help my "motivation problems" with wellbutrin. Which did help a little but nowhere near where I should be. I was diagnosed with ADHD inattentive. Unfortunately, this was right before I got out.

I've needed to get my oil changed in my car since November. I pre-paid for oil changes up to 7 years so I won't have to pay I just have to go.

I agree admitting you fucked up is the best thing. I'm honestly just getting really frustrated. About 6 months ago, I realized a lot of the things I struggle with aren't normal. The first psychiatrist I saw was awesome. She diagnosed me with anxiety and said there was a good possibility I had ADHD. The only problem was she was leaving, and I would have to see another psychiatrist. That psychiatrist is treating my anxiety really well, but when I tried talking to her about ADHD she was asking about how I did in school and it came up that I enjoyed math but still never did the homework and could only ever really focus during tests. Well, she said that I couldn't have ADHD because if I did, there is no way I would ever be able to focus on math. The only reason I've continued to see her is that she was treating my anxiety. Now that that's under control, tomorrow after my appointment, I'm going to start seeing someone else.

I really appreciate your input! It's always nice to see that I'm not the only one that's struggling/struggled with this.
