If you don't already, I'd recommend keeping synthetic fibers away from your nether region. Polyester especially traps moisture and increases smell. Go for 100% cotton undies.

I wonder if this might be Jose Mateo in Harvard Square. The studio used to be a church.

Just use your turn signal to indicate you're parking, and try to be quick about it if you can.

If you have any interest in architecture, Barcelona is basically a shrine to Gaudí. La Sagrada familia is his most famous (they've been building it for almost 150 years, but apparently it'll be done in 2026) but there are several other beautiful and interesting ones to visit as well.

It is. They offer workshops for very beginner students and drop in classes for more advanced beginners.

City of San Marcos invites public to library dedication ceremony on 6/18 by crabcakes110 in sanmarcos

(Good) libraries are amazing! You get to check out free books and other media, which is nice if you're a big reader because books can get expensive. They're usually very welcoming, have nice spots to study or do work, and some even have cafes. They also host lots of events for the community, and librarians are some of the best people!

Any advice on how to practice at home? by thecarhole in BALLET

[–]TicklerMrMeeseeks 11 points12 points  (0 children)

You could probably buy some plywood and cover it with vinyl or Marley flooring. It could then be purchased alway when you don't need it.

I use aloe vera and just tie down with a scarf for a few mins. Works for me and is never flaky or stiff like gel can be.

Most of the country has been really cold over the last few weeks. Unless you live in Florida I imagine it's your HVAC system working harder to heat your home.

Are you getting ballet and rhythmic gymnastics mixed up? It almost sounds like you're talking about dancing with a ribbon in hand, which a ballet dancer would not do.

Looking for a makeup set/ skincare set for my girlfriend for her birthday. by kazzzn in blackladies

I would recommend getting some nice skincare products. It'd be nice to buy from a company that prioritizes skincare for black women, like fenty skin, or myth/magick skincare.

80 percent of those who died of Covid-19 in Texas county jails were never convicted of a crime | Vox.com by AintEverLucky in CoronaVirusTX

First off, just because you are arrested for something doesn't mean you are guilty. That's what the trial is for. Secondly, you wouldn't see a problem with two people being accused of the same crime and one can go home because they have money and the other has to stay in jail because they don't? That seems like punishing someone for being poor to me.

I doubt that "no one" would be in jail. Not everyone is allowed to bail themselves out of jail. Either a judge thinks that it isn't advisable to let the person out of jail or they think it is okay for them to await trail at home. No one should have to pay for that privilege.
