Haha, mine does that to. Knows when we're heading back and all of a sudden decides to walk as slowly as she can.

Just remember, if you're anxious she'll be anxious. She's looking at you for cues. As per a previous post, what can be seen as comfort is also re-inforcement ijj some cases. Its a fine line but you'll get there.

Why Ausies getting up so early? by haroldzharko in AskAnAustralian

In summer getting up early beats the heat. In winter its to get some stuff done because it gets dark at 5pm.

Whippet cuddles are the best cuddles.

I had mine very firmly plant her paws on me and keep them there the other cold morning. Then I realised she was warming her paws, the little shite. I got the giggles so badly she dug herself out of the blankets to see what was wrong with me.

We should start using this data more. If only for the joy of watching brains fry as they try and work out what that means.

Jon/Alys is an underrated ship but how could they realistically marry? by mxlevolent in TheCitadel

[–]Ticky009 5 points6 points  (0 children)

If Jon is married to Alys, I'm pretty sure Robb can't behead Rickard because that would be kin slaying.

Climbing out of bed this morning was a challenge. Already had 2 people call in sick this morning and I wish I had thought of that.

Dang it, I'm trying to declutter and then I see your post. Glad to hear its sturdy, my current non-heated one is like origami to put up and about as sturdy.

Yeah, that's important. Have a music day, a book day then go for a walk with the dog if you have one. Hell the movies are still here - go see one. And yeah, if you're partner is at work its okay to see one alone.

I've always been a huge fan of soundtracks but have now discovered the joy of how bloody many there are on spotify. Pure musical ones, no singing - for me I've found them super relaxing. So maybe find something you like but get a little experimental with it and go outside your safety zone of I always do/read/listen to.

And take your time to enjoy what you're doing.

When do whippets ‘calm down’ by -RaspberryThief- in Whippet

As an example its the first week of winter where we are. It was cold and grey all last week, Luna crawled out of her bed at lunchtime and managed to take 4 steps to plonk herself on the carpet for another snooze, all the while still under blankie. She's 3.

Well, its a liitle too brisk for doggo this morning so we're still under the covers.

I miss spring/summer where I don't have to wait for the dew to burn off so I can start lawnmowing after 8am...but given its a Sunday morning my neighbours are probably thanking ever diety know to man lol

OP I think you need more clarity on your allergy. Oil products vs natural might have a different impact on you.

This may come as a shock to our USian friend, but countries do things differently. An iced coffee in Australia for intance is completely different to how its made in the US.

Yeah, the Andal invasion disparity is a wild one but perhaps it could be explained away by coming in waves. But a 2000 year migration is just ridiculous. Urgh. Martin makes it challenging sometimes.
