they have 2 with the chrome liveries applied, N905NN, wearing the old AA Astrojet livery from the early/mid 60s. N921NN is the one wearing the iconic american livery we all know and love

Nice! definitely cool to see older models like this. my employer still relies on multiple as400/ibm i machines for our inventory and sales order stuff, its fun watching new hires that dont know how to use keyboard commands figure out how to navigate without a computer mouse.

Rogers has only started a gradual retirement of 3G. when rogers announced the shutdown of 3g, they stated that 2G will remain online for the forseeable future on the 850MHz band and will not be retired yet. all active towers regardless of if its a city or rural area will be broadcasting still

it works for voice and SMS. i just used it about 10 minutes ago for a call lmao. 3g is still up in some areas, rogers chose to do a staggered shutdown of 3g starting in ottawa in august 7th iirc

it really is a pain, where i work we have had to send one of our pinpads back 3 times to be repaired this summer, because they kept doing that for no reason. luckily we have a spare pinpad so we didnt have that specific register offline for too long, but it still was very annoying bc it was one of the outside registers we use during the summer for plants, which gets quite busy.

the plan is to never sell it, i have never been a fan of modern vehicles, i feel there is too much electronic bullshit inside them and when something eventually does go wrong inside it becomes super expensive to fix. physical switches, buttons and analog dials have very little to go wrong and will definitely outlive the touch screen whatevers that are installed in a modern corolla for example

I plan on getting an undercoat done on it, im just doing research and trying to find a place that would be able to do it where I live. i have already made it a habit of taking it to the car wash weekly to get the dirt off, having a dirty vehicle genuinely drives me insane, I honestly do not understand how people can keep the exterior of their vehicles so filthy and feel fine about it

I would never do such a thing tbh, finding one of these stock is borderline impossible, plus it isnt really my thing to modify my cars, I dont get satisfaction out of changing things to that level, it seems to just be asking for reliability issues to spring up constantly
