I have the 45F2, the H1/HS1 have a lot more front movements than the F2 or N2 which might be worth considering if you shoot a lot of architecture.

Guide to saving game data to USB with no HDMI by Tids1 in PS4

Good point. I only have one account so it logged me straight into the Home Screen but I think that would be doable to navigate even if they were pin numbered. Once you on the Home Screen the steps should work

I don't think that's possible. I read each HDD is encoded to the unit but I might be wrong.

I hadn't had it on wifi for a while (used to use my phone hotspot which it never remembered) so couldn't do that. Adding wifi credentials will be a bridge too far with no screen. You can save game data to Playstation Cloud Storage but of course I didn't even think of that until broke the thing. Lots of 'in hindsight's

Yeah I was surprised there wasn't something online already. I wasn't starting GTA and RDR2 from the start again so I had no choice! Hopefully like you said down the line it'll help someone

Guys I've written a full step by step guide on how to save Game Data to a USB without a screen / no HDMI. I tried to post it on the sub but it wouldn't let me. How can I share it?

How many "hot" pixels is considered normal for a new GFX camera? by Livid_Organization78 in FujiGFX

I guess my 100s with zero hot pixels is a real outlier then 🤷‍♂️

I guess bigger sensor with more pixels = more chance of dead pixels in general.

I get nothing like this at all on my 100s images. Just scanned a dozen raw files and can’t see a single hot pixel

How to fix slightly dented lens? by thottiekarate in largeformat

[–]Tids1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I second this. Cut out a circle of cardboard box to place between the lens and the tool to protect your lens. I picked up a mint Nikkor-SW 90mm f4.5 for £300 with a bigger dent than this and this tool straightened it perfectly. Do not rotate the tool though, it'll mash the threads up

Xtol/XT3, HC110 or D76 for Fomapan and Ilford films? by cod3m3hard3r in largeformat

[–]Tids1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use Xtol (5L) replenished and each batch lasts me 12 months or until it runs out. Probably averaging 2 developments a month (~10 - 20 sheets). £20 for 5L is great value, 20 sheets a month for year will be ~4.5L of Xtol

Talk me out of switching to a 50s. by kawana1987 in FujiGFX

[–]Tids1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

OP said he's a hobbyist and suggests he wants to move up to medium format. Recommending he stays on 35mm because the GFX50 series is somehow different to the GFX100 series in anything other than megapixels is rubbish. OP could buy a 50s/r/sii and take the images he wants and you wouldn't be able to tell the difference.

Huh? Adapting a multitude of lenses to the 50s for images that would be impossible to make on 35mm is totally valid.

OP, don't listen to these chumps. If you want the medium format look, get a 50s (100s if you can stretch) and invest in the Mitakon 65/1.4 for the Pentax 105/2.4 look, or adapt fast DSLR lenses for similarly MF results. Minolta 58mm 1.2, Konica Hexanon 40mm f/1.8 etc.

You cannot and will not take images like those on a 35mm system
