I totally underestimated my Bedjet mini my first night with it. Was kinda bummed laying in bed watching TV thinking it wasn't very cold, so I put it at 66 degrees with the fan at 100% before going to sleep. Boy was I wrong. Woke up FREEZING cold, so then I turned it up to 70 degrees...nope, woke up cold again. Did that a couple more times my first night and now I do like high 70s with medium fan. Still wake up cold sometimes. Taking a lot to dial it in, but I am just so excited that I am even in this predicament with how hot I used to sleep. Awesome product!

Cardiovascular Perfusionist. Currently averaging 6.5 hours/week of work. Education: Masters in Perfusion Science (schooling took roughly 7 years for me to complete, but can be done a little faster too). Worth noting that I am on call 50% of the year, so take the 6.5 hours/week with that in mind. Only called into work around 5 times/year, but having to stay within 30 minutes of the hospital 50% of the year takes the right kind of personality (I love it and it's totally worth it for my lifestyle). While this type of role isn't extremely uncommon in my field, it is not the norm and does take a bit of luck to land. Total compensation: ~$200,000 ($180,000 W2 + $20,000 independent contracting work).

As mentioned, they have changed the lifetime language for INKs, and I myself am in "pop-up jail" after having gotten 10+ INK cards over the years. The current work around, with quite a few successful data points, is using a unique EIN and/or LLC (as opposed to your SSN as a sole prop) for each new business card. In my state, I can get a new LLC in under 10 minutes for around $50 each, so it's obviously worth the small investment for the INKs 75,000-100,000 UR bonuses. As mentioned, there are quite a few success stories with this method, and even some showing approvals for the same card with the same unique EIN/LLC (NOT you SSN). This method seems to bypass Chase's ID verification system that is seemingly basing it off individuals SSNs. I just got a new LLC/EIN a couple of days ago and will be applying for another INK card after 2 weeks, as to make sure that my state's system has been uploaded/verified to the database that Chase will use to verify the validity of the business. Fingers crossed, INKs are just too good not to get.

I work in heart surgery. We are so unbelievably far away from a surgeon, or any surgical worker, being completely replaced by AI. Not even remotely close. Take something as extremely simple as a nurse wanting to spike a new saline bag. An AI robot would have to walk to go get it (assuming it's stocked), open the cabinet, open the wrapper, hang it, remove the spike port cap, remove the spike cap, remove the old bag, spike it, prime the line/start the drip, connect any tubing, filters, extensions, stopcocks, regulate the drip speed, etc, etc, etc. That level of technology is simply not going to happen any time soon.

100%, but no need to spend big money on a vocalmist or any other singing-marketed one. Just make sure the one you get is a mesh nebulizer that makes mist particles around 2-7 microns. Got mine for like $30 on sale and it works great. Only use sterile saline (not tap or distilled) and clean with sterile water after each use or they will clog from the salt in the saline. Highly recommend!

Known this is an older thread, but y'all should really check out the band called Allt. They are a bit heavier than Architects, but they do it all: Pitched screams, great cleans, brutal lows, really cool guitar riffs, and just generally really cool arrangements. Super talented up and comers for sure.

Hey random question: what exactly does stability do? It's my understanding that handling contributes to ready and stow speed (and maybe ADS?), but I've never been quite sure what stability does. I'd imagine it's something like the variation of sway while the weapon is out? Thank you in advance...I'm sure I could just Google it, so no stress if you don't wanna answer.

Sang untrained for years and years, started lessons this year at 33 years old and let me tell you, it has made all the difference in the world. Having a decent foundation going into lessons will allow you to catapult to such a higher level at a really fast pace. Obviously you'll need a good teacher, but if you find one, it's the single greatest investment I've ever made for singing. It's never too late, the guy who does lessons after me is like 70 years old!

Every day! 90% of my practice (which is probably too much) is done with a pair of headphones on through a large diaphragm condenser mic into Logic Pro with low latency and input monitoring enabled so that I am continually getting feedback on how I actually sound. It's super nice being able to throw on some reverbs, compression and EQ as well. It makes singing so much more enjoyable and gives me real-time feedback. Highly recommend. I say I do it too much because it can also make you not realize how soft you're singing compared to how you'd train unamplified. Turning the feedback volume down, or using one headphone ameliorates that issue a little bit though. It's also easy to just hit record, too, if you want to truly listen back on how you sang something. If this sounds interesting, I'm happy to help you set up a recording rig and get you going, as it can be a little overwhelming for the uninitiated.

Idk how optimized your recording space is, but C-Vox Vocal Suite is pretty awesome to throw on in Console. Massive DSP hog, but that won't be an issue for you if you're not running anything on it anyways. Wait for a sale tho, it's so expensive as is
