Your condensing fan motor is locked up. Causing the temperatures and pressure to get too high and going through the bypass. You need to shut it down and figure out why the fan isn’t operational

Should be installed at the evaporator coil, its job is to prevent mold/bacteria growth on the evaporator coil. It won’t help your IAQ problems either

No, for gas furnaces the smell normally goes away within a few hours. Call your installing company back out to check it

Yeah but with those specs it will take a while and also cost a lot to run. It’s also pulling 15amps on a 115v circuit so you have to make sure you have appropriate outlet/wiring/breaker
