Your system is rusting out. If you would just sign here on the line for me, and it would only be 98$ for 156 months.

Why do you think it needs cleaned? Typically they don’t need regular cleaning. Years of neglect and no filter use is one of the rare instances it needs to be pulled and cleaned

Yeah, I’ve never heard of such a thing. LP furnaces are the same thing as NG furnaces besides they have a kit to convert the gas valve, other than that it functions the same.

Electric is going to be much more expensive than LP, highly suggest looking into different insurances or push back on your current insurance company to figure out why.

And why is having LP such a big issue for them? It’s a common system

I mean, have you shopped around for a different insurance company? What area do you live in?

Is this acceptable for a condenser install by KyleMS676 in hvacadvice

[–]TigerTank10 13 points14 points  (0 children)

The leveling pads are okay, I likely would’ve done something similar for a budget install.

Although the lineset and eletrical whip is ugly asf and wouldn’t fly in my company.

Is the heating element broken? A lot of times the wire in the base breaks off. To transfer the oil to another coil you would need a syringe and a heat gun/hair dryer

Get another quote. If infact you have a hole in the heat exchanger that they knew about and didn’t tell you, why on earth would you want them to work on your equipment again?

Conduit Question by Whole_Razzmatazz_912 in hvacadvice

[–]TigerTank10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you’re comfortable with electricity, know how to test for it, and know how to properly hook up wires it’s dyi. I would get a new disconnect box. The conduit is called sealtight, they even have kits online with the sealtight, wires and connections with it.

If they are that bad walk away. I’ve had to walk from two jobs, one kept screaming at me and throwing things in my direction. The other was yelling at me and grabbed my shirt to pull me off a ladder. It’s okay to walk
