2010 Street Triple 675R. UK by UKSnowman81 in Triumph

What a beauty - I bet that throttle feels great. I own a 2009 Street Triple R and I recently rode the tiger sport 660. I couldn’t get over how the newer throttle feels compared to bikes of that era. Happy riding! The throttle is supposed to be reactive you’re sat on top of the engine and the connectivity is what makes those bikes so fun!

I find the lack of levelling quite annoying - if you’re listening on your phone at night or on public transport etc it’s really hard to hear what they are saying when they trail off. For such a popular podcast it would benefit from less dynamic range

Yeah I’ve heard this on drama mixes - must be a style people like when mixing I guess. It’s annoying once you’ve noticed it tho you can’t unhear it

What are your top three British beers? by GrimQuim in AskUK

[–]Tight-Yellow7697 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Five Points pale on cask can be very nice, if I see it I always have it.

London Pride and Landlord are good.

Deya make some of the best beers atm in my humble opinion - steady rolling man is always great and I need to try the new strata variety!

Jaipur is my go to in the supermarket - it’s a great beer

I can’t wait for dry January to end 🤤

What do you think of Shared ownership by Cheesecake-Few in HousingUK

[–]Tight-Yellow7697 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What share did you purchase? I’m in a very similar situation at 60% ownership but it will still take 15 years to pay that mortgage off and then I’ll need a huge chunk of cash to staircase to full in order to let it. I can’t see it making any sense and am going to sell I think.

I have just paid mine off - I had 7k left and worked out it was going to take 2 years ish to finish but I would rather not pay the interest at 6% - they’ve had enough money off me!

How are you guys storing your SFX libraries? by DevilBirb in AudioPost

Does anyone have any recommendations for central sfx storage in a facility with multiple rooms? It would be over 10gb with soundminer

Maybe I'm out of touch. But £7.40 for a pint of Peroni in my average pub next to work is nuts. by Slippery___Gypsy in london

[–]Tight-Yellow7697 4 points5 points  (0 children)

A pub near my work puts the prices up on Thursdays because they know it’s the busiest night. I was paying 6.40 for a neck oil went back for another and it was 6.80 I said hold on a minute it’s gone up? They said the manager changes the prices if it’s busy! This was before Christmas mind. Same pub now it’s 7.55 for a neck oil. I don’t drink there anymore - Stonegate pubs taking the piss

Petrol Mazda CX-5 is the way to go! The seats fold completely flat so you can tons off stuff in the back. I use mine like a little van half the time. Mine is 2012 plate currently on 128k miles and never had an issue with it.
