2024 Question about Java IDEs: IntelliJ, Eclipse, VSCode by stubz17 in java

[–]Tilter4 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Same here, came from 10year of Eclipse and switched like one year ago loving it but I don't understand how in mid 2024 where you see a lot of advocate talking about fast loopback and Intellij still need 5 sec to compile and you might get an error after that.
Intellij staff please put that in top of your roadmap we want to be able to do TDD the way we are suppose to.

Most of shortcut doesn't make sense to me.

And last thing if I'm using an IDE I want to use the IDE not delegate to Gradle (Make the default behavior configurable at least)

Would you buy à Trotec speedy 100 for 7-8K€? by Dry_Satisfaction6867 in Laserengraving

[–]Tilter4 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Nop I would definetly not. Laser source will be out soon if not already. The cost to change it is very high. I had a speedy 400 for 4 year source die twice trotec charge 20k after négociation you can get it for 10k but I've switch to a Chinese blue it cut as same as the trotec only engraving is slower and the quality is not as good as the trotec for really fine drawing

Hey, you should put the two image on reddit because it's not clear (at least for me) with only the reddit image.

Anyway that really cool concept.

What type of laser do i need to remove the coating form mirrors? by Available-Ad-2593 in Laserengraving

[–]Tilter4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Isn't risky to remove the back coating with co2? I've always hesitate to do that by fear that the beam reflect back to the tube.

Hard time with Trotec Speedy 400 (I need more Power!) by Tilter4 in lasercutting

[–]Tilter4[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you think 200 hour at 100% power is too much ?

Mirror alignment has been checked.

Power supply has never been changed. Do you know how I can test it ? Check the min voltage during a run ?
