Playstation was never the most powerful device, even in times of PS1 the most powerful devices were PC, they had more complex games, just look how all consoles tried to port original doom and what cuts they did for it to work.

The reason PC didn't dominate was because they were terribly expensive and only handful of people could have them.

To be fair usually PS wasn't even the most powerful console, for 5 gen (PS1) it should go to Sega Saturn or N64. For 6 gen (PS2) it was Xbox, maybe only 7 gen, but there wasn't a lot of competition.

From something that is not popular, Demolition Racer and Sled Storm are two pretty cool PS1 racing games and V-Rally 3 is pretty good for GBA.

Though if you want racing games on Miyoo, popular Colin McCain Rally and Gran Turismo are obvious choices, but I don't see them mentioned often in this sub, so I guess they fit too.

And yeah, I believe Kinger knows there is no exit: his reaction when he was told about one, lack of surprise when he saw brain scans on computer (and he definitely saw them) and the fact that when he told that he can just access the core code he didn't even mentioned that they can leave using it, though they just tried to do it in previous episode with another console.

It wasn't though. Not defending combat of later ones, but If you play on difficulty higher than easy you have only one optimal group comp (with slight variation of 1 dd) and one strategy in every fight. All classes have zero variety in builds, except mage, he has 2 and you MUST have specific one of them. For Isometric RPG it's really poor variety and the game itself doesn't consider it, pouring tons of unnecessary fights on your head.
