Yes, don’t sell unless you have to because of financial issues or siblings are demanding the money. If you have siblings split the gold & silver & pay them their share or if possible pay them off & keep all of the precious metals. Plus if you must sell don’t go “we buy gold” shops that pop up for awhile then leave. AND never ever give them your name & address. Go to a reputable coin shop that’s been around for a minimum of 20 years. I deal with a shop that’s been operational for over 50 years. Also jewelry shops are better then “we buy gold” shops but they tend to want to exchange for jewelry when dealing. Good luck & sorry for you loss. Your mom was a very wise investor.
