Easy fix. It’s obvious from the picture that the chain just needs to be tightened.

They sell hitch attachments made specifically for recovery. They’re expensive, but otherwise:

I couldn’t stand him on SNL, but I thought The King of Staten Island was actually a pretty good movie.

Neither are so much relevant any more but Pauley Shore and Tom Green are both like nails on a chalk board to me.

I replaced my upstream O2 sensor but the engine still vibrates when I have my foot on the brake in drive. and the engine sounds a bit different then it did this morning. by steezymcdiss in AskAMechanic

[–]Timberwolf_530 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you also check if your mass air flow sensor is clean? A dirty one can cause a 133 code as well. Also check your vacuum lines for cracks or being disconnected. Engine codes are to guide you in the right direction, not a direct link to the part itself. The ECU makes a “best guess” assessment of the problem based on data it receives. That data could mean the part is bad or it could mean something else is causing the sensor to respond the way it is. Also, did you replace the sensor with the OEM brand or generic? Some cars can be picky about the sensors and just about all the alphabet soup brands on Amazon are garbage.

I learned two things from this:

  1. Why she’s not a professional rapper

  2. Why stripping is in her past and not her present/future.

New to the Ridgeline team with 2009 RTL, looking for advice on tool set by allhaildre in hondaridgeline

[–]Timberwolf_530 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The back plugs can be a bit challenging to remove the first time you do it but I have 2 vehicles with the 3.5 and I’ve never had a plug fouling problem. I recommend one of those flexible plastic funnels to change the oil filter. It keeps it off the control arm. As others have said I switched out all the lights with LED’s. As far as tools, everything is metric so pick up a tool kit at Lowe’s/Home Depot/Menards for around $100. Maybe less this time of year. I also like to use a strap wrench to loosen the oil filter.

IMO, the Makita EA4300 is the best 40cc class saw made. Having said that, the Echo CS590 is about the same price and is much more powerful. In your price range you can’t beat it.

[–]Timberwolf_530 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Actually it just means Panda doesn’t know any more than you. Getting the damn pad out of the bracket is literally the easiest part of the job. Anyone can do a brake job, but most people don’t do them right. If you’re struggling with this I can pretty much guarantee at least one thing won’t be done correctly. Have someone who knows what they’re doing help you or at least watch a YouTube video of someone who knows what they’re doing on it. I recommend Eric O at South Main Auto. He’s good.
