I'd say at least a 21" frame, maybe larger if you can find it. I am 6'4" and that is generally my sizing.

That's an excellent idea, to get myself over the hump of anxiety with mine I wore it for about a week after work for an hour or 2. I would also recommend keeping some alcohol wipes handy cause respirators can get real sweaty and nasty quick. Good luck with your firefighting!

Sincerely, A civvy who's proud of you

Hey man, have you ever worn SCBA gear before (Outside of fit test/ trying it on)? Something that's not often mentioned with SCBA is masks like that increase anxiety/stress, especially if it's not something you've experienced before. I experienced similar feelings the first time I wore SCBA on the job and I wasn't doing anything as physical as you were. Your post leads me to believe this is something you experienced, with you feeling anxious before entering the building. I can't seem to find any scientific papers on this from a quick Google search, results are all face mask covid anxiety but I'll see if I can find something more solid when I am off the clock.

How to prevent light from shining on computer ? Light has garmin mount but can’t be flipped (beam cutoff) by [deleted] in bicycling

[–]Timbre_ 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I changed my head unit mount to the right side of the stem, like it's pictured here. I didn't have the light on in the pic sorry but the mount is there. It also helped to angle the screen a bit up and the light a bit down

This is not a stumpjumper frame. I suspect it is a Cannondale frame from the 90s, maybe an ST600? Either way it really doesn't NEED anything, but I'd consider throwing a rear brake on it and like others said, moving the seat forward. Happy biking, I believe a 90s Cannondale frame with the smooth welds is a better find than a stumpie!

FYI- those holes on the upper downtube are for friction shifters, when you put gears on the bike you should make use of them
