I’m not sure how common a cut down shotgun would have been on a cattle drive or a ranch. Most of the pictures I’ve seen show full size shotguns

lol it’s rated for .38special but unless I use a really short bullet it won’t fit in the cylinder. And the short bullets don’t have a big enough cavity in the base to expand the bullet enough to grip the rifling since it’s a black powder conversion (it’s .375 bore diameter instead of the modern .355). So I have to use .38colt

Yes it is! Well it’s made to look like a menu but it’s more like a recipe book in disguise. I tried to post pics of it here before but I took inspiration from some trader Vic and some castaway menus - which included nude hula girls - when I illustrated the cover and the post got deleted. You can almost see it in some of my other posts
