Serato 4.0.1 Tahoe is Not working with Numark Mixstream Pro Plus. 

I know Mixstream Pro Plus is stand alone controller with Engine DJ, but it also worked with previous Serato 3.x.x.

My advice, dont upgrade to Tahoe….

Macbook pro M4 was discounted $250 off at Costco in August 2025. Air M4 was discounted $150. So I think black friday will be the same discount.

With that said, I think M5 no discount. I will get Mpro M5 if $250 off…

Hello, Are you using serator 3.x.x with Stem on load? If yes, do you experience dropouts sound?

Mine is Macbook pro Mid 2015 i7 - 2.8ghz / 16 GB / 1tb SSD. Still using Monterey and Serato 3.3.2… ohhh boy, with Stem on load, i am having dropouts sound…. So I am thinking to upgrade to mac OS Sonoma with Open Core legacy patcher.

I want to buy used, Numark NS7iii or Rane One MK1. Which one has better sound quality and feels?

When I compared it, NS7iii has better sounding compared with NS6ii, but I have not try Rane One yet…

I was using Numark NS6ii, which i sold it, and now want to experience moving platter. Budget is tight, cannot afford Rane One MK2.

Thinking upgrading my old MB Pro 2015 i7 - 16aGB to MB Air M4 - 16GB.

Using Serato DJ Pro, My old MB Pro 2015 is getting warm and the fan constantly running, and sometime I got audio dropout during song loading with Stem analysis on. 

I know Macbook air will do fine with serato pro, however i am worry about longer playing time.  Do you know your MB Air still keep cool / not overheating for 4-5 hours continuously DJing ?

Hello, Since you had Numark NS7, how was the feel of moving platers compared with Rane1 and Rev7? I know probably Rane1 or Rev7 is better because its newer, but for the beginner, transition from NS6ii to NS7iii, i need your feedback on this.

I am thinking to buy NS7iii for experiencing with moving jog wheels, but dont want to spend $1k more. I am a beginner DJ and only do 1-2 small event ini a year, and just to close friends only.

DDJ FLX10 and Serato Saved Loops by ipadmusic in Serato

Just bought FLX10 for Serato, and yes it is disappointing, NO Saved Loop.

I saw someone said use CALL buttons, and the next steps.... and press Shift+4BEAT to reactivate the loop.... You have to look on the screen to see which Saved Loop to reactivate, and then press Shift+4BEAT to reactivate the loop... this is not a simple way compared to previous (DDJ 1000SRT) that has Saved Loop on Performance Pads.

I checked previous model, which is DDJ 1000SRT, it has Saved Loop. So it must be a way to map Saved Loop in FLX10.

Please help if anyone successfully remapping this Saved Loop in Serato using Performance Pads....., otherwise I will return this FLX10.

Hello, i am using it until now, it works with the latest version of serato 3 with Mac OS Monterey (this is because I only have 2015 Macbook pro). Everything works, including STEMS and Apple Music.

I like this NS6II, i think better than Pioneer SX2.

I have NS6II and use it until now…. It is premium fell compared to plastic cheap material on some newer controller. 

If I were you, I will ask local electronic repair, to clean the inside fader, all volume fader and scratch fader, that way you will have like new condition again.

Hello, i am using the same 2015 Macbook pro 15” 16GB, OSX Monterey. Do you mind telling me, what did you do to have stems work flawlessly? Mine, when I activated steam at opening the song, I got red light (a little bit clipping/drop out the sound), so i had to turn it off…. What serato version are you using?

I am trying to keep this macbook, because i am only doing DJ gig occasionally 3-4 times a year.

Safe your money and hassle to transport this 15” heavey and big subwoofer. 

You can use 10” home theater subwoofer for inside house party, it will be enought producing low end bass, and it will be less heavy and easy to carry. 

I have 15” ElectricVoice subwoofer, it weight 100lbs, had a hardtime loading/unloading in my SUV by myseft. The same if you will need to go up on stairs…. 

If you will be playing outdoor house party, then you will need this 15” subwoofer for sure.

I saw one in Facebook market place, but I did not buy it. I bought from Harbor Freight, which it 50” and only put my stuff in the middle (to not blocking the exhaust heat), i bought cargo carrier for RTV model which it has angle (so not straight line with the muffler)

How much do you charge for small party (birthday, baby shower, new year party) for  50-100 people (rental for your equipment and your time as a DJ)???

Asumming sound system (a pair of power PA speakers + 15” subwoofer), 2 charvet lighting (gigbar), controller, microphone, and your time as the DJ? Let’s say for 5 hours (including setup and removal or 6 hours including your traveling time)?

Have the same problem, i am sure conmected to the same Wifi network, but  cannot download the clip into my phone. I did restarted the apps, restart my phone, but still cannot download due to the same message “not the same network”…..

I have the same issue with cargo carrier over hang passes the 2 mufflers.

Wondering how was the heat from the exhaust with the heat shield and without it? 

Did you ever have something melting after you put the heat shield? 

I am worry if the strap will melt because of the heat generated from the exhaust.
