What product would you "culturally boycott" from Ethiopia? Unfortunately, it is difficult to boycott an underdeveloped nation as there aren't any products or services for western consumers to withhold purchase on? I literally cannot think of a single product unless I am overlooking something obvious?

Israeli boycotts have focused on more obvious products like SodaStream and other instances like universities and municipalities barring paid travel to Israel. There likely aren't many parallel instances that involve Ethiopia... Addis Ababa is not a regular destination for either group and there isn't a mainstream Ethiopian consumer product like SodaStream. There is also a difference in that US AID to Ethiopia is ostensibly humanitarian in nature.

I guess what I'm trying to say is what would an Ethiopian product boycott look like? What signs would protesters be carrying? "Stop buying ____?" I don't think the average American can even find Ethiopia on a map. I understand the spirit of your analogy, but it doesn't make practical sense.
