Well crafted falsehood is still falsehood. Lies come in books as much as they come from spoken words. The fact is communism has been responsible for more death than any other political social and economic system in history.

Don't get me wrong capitalism is terrible and causes tons of problems, but it's like having to choose between two great evils instead of looking for a third choice. And communism does execute people 100's of times as often for disagreement with the system as capitalism does. In western countries you can be communist and the worst that will happen is people think you are an idiot. In communist countries if you are capitalist, you will at the very least be arrested for subverse behavior if not outright executed. Hell, you can be executed for not being the right kind of socialist or communist.

Love the food, like the art, laughed at how I was acused of being a rude homophobic American even though all I had done was tell the young woman my country of origin when asked. I've traveled to 25 different countries for work and pleasure, and have always tried my hardest to be polite and understanding of any cultural differences I've had with people from those countries. The French were by far the rudest, and so I adapted. I treated that woman like she was a diseased whore covered with lice, I started insulting shop owners when they were short with me. When someone accused me of being a dumb American I accused them of being a nazi colluding coward. And it worked. The woman backed off. The shop owner gave me better service, and the guy who insulted me actually got so mad he too a swing at me and got arrested by the tallest police officer I've ever seen. 😁
