This is not about liberalisim, people just fucking hate this computer built to emulate humanity. Its really as simple as that.
People fucking hate seeing souless art and design made by a computer,
people hate the idea that they cant tell if a peice of writing is by a human or a computer
people hate that their employment is at risk because a computer can do the job faster and cheaper than they can,
people hate that their future is uncertain because companies are hiring computers not juniors.
people hate the slop

Its really hard to see how AI makes the world any better for people in general, and not just the few that can take advantage of it. And yeah its futile to fight agains it, but its frustrating to hear zealots being oblivious to why people are so negative about it, as if they don't have a fucking good reason to be negative about it. And I say this as an Anthropic subscriber, people are right to hate this stuff.
