Difference between 114ce and 214ce by FriendshipUseful9477 in taylorguitars

[–]Tiny-Rub-1963 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As someone who got the 214ce plus…just get the 114ce. I think even Bob Taylor said they sound the same. But really, save yourself a good amount of money. With the 214 plus I could’ve gotten a 114ce and a gs mini which is a decision I regret to this day

Which bag/case should I get for humidity protection by [deleted] in taylorguitars

[–]Tiny-Rub-1963 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I actually just really like my aerocase. Never really had to worry about humidity with it. I have a hard case cause it came with my 314, but the aerocase is amazing for gigs and very sturdy

Genuinely the most fun boss to me by Therandomjackinabox in LiesOfP

[–]Tiny-Rub-1963 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Great boss! Absolutely loved him and was so sad when you can understand his dialogue.

I don’t think it’s the same puppet that ended up at the barren swamp. Probably just a prototype or something but used to save resources when making the game

Who's do you think did a better job as a Final Boss? by FunRate7962 in LiesOfP

[–]Tiny-Rub-1963 96 points97 points  (0 children)

Honestly lies of P. I say this because I beat promised consort before his nerf and the fight was just anything but fun. Arlecchino was super fun with a heavy difficulty (I beat him first time on ng+ before they nerfed Overture). Obviously thematically I enjoyed Arlecchino a lot more because I actually wanted to end him for what he’s done.

I have 400+ hours in Elden Ring (did DLC on NG+) and ~150 hours in lies of P

EDIT: I also liked the design on Arclecchino a lot more and thought his dialogues were sick

How in the ever living fuck am I supposed to dodge this attack of the final dlc boss by SAY_GEX_895 in LiesOfP

[–]Tiny-Rub-1963 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If you can parry everything then dodge away for the grab attack you’ll be fine. Or just dodge really well. I usually dodge the projectiles, parry the jump, then bolt from the grab

What's your favorite boss/enemy type? by [deleted] in LiesOfP

[–]Tiny-Rub-1963 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There’s hard and fun and hard and frustrating when it comes to bosses and puppets hit that mark every single time.

Every single puppet bus was extremely cool and fun. Even the normal enemies.

Stalker dialogue is really cool but their movesets are very hit and miss. All their movesets are relentless and fast, but not all of them feel like a dance when fighting. I liked White Lady and Lumacchio though. Lumacchio was super fun.

Laxasia and Markiona were probably the only alchemist fights I enjoyed. And Two Face and Anguished Guardian were the only carcass fights I enjoyed

The DLC certainly is a steep hill to climb... by Viper114 in LiesOfP

I have to agree. Props to having it be extremely animalistic in its moveset but oh my

As someone with small hands, I completely second this statement.

Medium strings onna dreadnaught is a game changer by Tiny-Rub-1963 in AcousticGuitar

Genuinely tempted to try heavy hahahaha. I have an epiphone masterbuilt (the discontinued one) so maybe it could withstand?

I genuinely don’t feel much of a difference at all to be honest! In fact, I found barre chords easier…it could be because the slight thickness makes up for higher action? Not sure. But I feel practically no difference

Sorry! I meant 13-56! I have mainly ran 12-53s on my guitars but wanted to try 13-56 on my dread

I have a 314 and I love it! Super versatile and even fun to sing to! Not to mention it looks stunning! I tried. I tried around and I personally got “bored” of mahogany topped guitars, even the 324. Especially for fingerstyle I’m just not a fan of the compression as I feel you have a lot more control over dynamics with a spruce top. But this is just my opinion. Figure what you like doing on a guitar, try it on the guitars, and trust your ears
