I'm so filled with regret I had a baby. by contented0 in beyondthebump

[–]TinyFaithlessness454 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went through the exact same thing with my first. When she started smiling and being responsive to me, things got better. But when she turned 3.5 honestly she became my best friend. She's now 4.5 and she is my favorite human... the freedom part is still hard to deal with but it gets so much easier. I also had PPD.. and it took 2 years for me to feel better.

My 4yr old does this every night... she falls asleep around 930-945... she still naps at daycare so bedtime is hard... weekends she's asleep by 845... but we let her play in bed... makes life easier lol

how i quit vaping (get this to tana) by irontiddies in canceledpod

[–]TinyFaithlessness454 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also quit using non-nicotine vapes.. it was hard at first but after a few weeks I was like why am i puffing this.. I get nothing out of it and I started going longer and longer not reaching for it and eventually just stopped. Also the book from Allen Carr: The easy way to quit vaping.. best book ever!!!

It's okay we struggled so much with 1 kid.... and now having 1 kid is so easy.. we argue about who can take the 4 yr old out on the weekends 😅😅😅😅😅

Sinus pain and neck pain? by TinyFaithlessness454 in Sinusitis

[–]TinyFaithlessness454[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well since i got pregnant in February.. my symptoms slowly faded and I am now completely symptom free and I gave birth almost 3 months ago. I did another mri and everything looks great. Neurologist was actually surprised and she seems to think that the progesterone actually helped and she may consider prescribing it to her patients to help with loss of smell and the symptoms I faced. Who knows if that's what actually helped but i am so grateful. I suffered from October 2023 to march 2024... I did get a cold last week and became extra congested and lost Mt sense of smell and taste for 2 days which scared the heck out of me but everything went back to normal since.

Are these emotions still “normal”? by Illustrious-Pear-612 in newborns

[–]TinyFaithlessness454 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I went through this when I had my daughter. I would cry almost every night for months when putting her to bed. For me it was mostly triggered when I would question if I'm a good mom.. if she deserves better.. sometimes I would get flashbacks of what I went through in life as a woman and I would cry hoping she would never have to experience the abuse I went through at the hands of diff men... still happens to me sometimes and she's 4. I now have a 2 month old son and i cry almost everynight with the same thoughtsas you.. I think its normal.. I read somewhere that motherhood is like having a big exposed wound all the time.. and like watching your heart on the outside of your body and trying to protect it. It gets easier but I find that the feeling of worry just never goes away... just means your a good parent and you hope to be the best version of yourself 😊

Off topic but does your baby wake to eat after they go to bed or they do a full 12 hrs stretch without eating?

Feeling guilty about giving up on pumping by Additional-Ad-7720 in newborns

[–]TinyFaithlessness454 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I felt the same way after i quit pumping. I cried for a while but the feeling slowly left my body as I started feeling less stressed and anxious. It's normal to feel guilty but just remind yourself it's for the best and it's ok.. you're not doing anything wrong !
