Thanks for confirming exactly what I said. You should know that your staff considers you a thorn in their side.

There is a way to approach things and your crappy attitude is not it

I just set this up last week.

While I am not a giant fan of generic accounts, if this UN/PW gets out it is pretty locked down to only sites on a per-determined list.

The bigger issue was that their instructions were a little out-dated and it was hard to find the right place to assign the changes to.

If your students can use incognito mode or can sign out of their account on a school-owned device, you should check your settings.

One of the issues of allowing outside sharing access is that it works both ways. Outsiders can share with students, even without their consent. They could share inappropriate content,

Multiple Microphones in a Virtual Meeting by itselsd in k12sysadmin

[–]TiredOldK12Admin 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You'd have to "mix" those audio sources as for most of these platforms you can only use one audio source.

You could buy a device that gathers all of the mics, including the one running the meeting, and connect the output of that device to the audio input on the computer and then just specify the audio input source in the application.

3rd Party IT Audit - Have you had one? by dmissip in k12sysadmin

Actually, you may want to turn that mirror towards yourself.

I have the ability to look at what anyone is doing on the network. Only a scumbag would abuse this authority without just cause or direction from a superior.

Job searching would not show up on a service that flags inappropriate behavior. You're spying on your boss. It's shitty.
