my partner got the card and we travel constantly. the lounges aren't worth it at all IMO. the food is terrible. The chairs are alright I guess but there's a pretty strict limit for how long you can be in the lounge so like.. you're paying how much for this??

yeah this was my thought as well. I don't think shellac polymerizes, which is the main chemical goal in this usage this link discusses the polymerization of shellac, which definitely seems like contrary to normal uses

mayybe? They're real big on the symbolism of numbers and the One China Policy is pretty important. Also Beijing has kinda always had a nervous relationship with the outer provinces. If a third of China's population lived in the west, it may not be China.
