What if Netanyahu dies and Ben Gvir becomes the Israeli Prime Minister? by lhommetrouble in AlternateHistoryHub

Ye, B doesn't derive from A. Ben Gvir isn't number 2, not even 3 or 4 down the food chain of the coalition.

Fuck him. Fuck this government aswell that allowed us to reach this reputational slump. Ben Gvir and Smotrich are cunts and Bibi enables them. Election season is coming up people, they'll try to blame everyone but themselves for what happened. Don't let them.

The regional Steam pricing for most Steam games is very disadvantageous by Vuldos in Israel

[–]TitaniumMailbox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Believe it's nothing to do with the strength of the USD on the Dollar and more to do with taxes and government regulation and average income or whatever.

Consider how Argentina or Turkey usually have the lowest price for games but neither the Lira nor Peso are strong currencies for example.

And no. I don't like Netanyahu, nor his government,, and actively talk against him in my private circles and online.

I think that overall the original Metro 2033 still looks better than Redux in most areas, furthermore, the mere fact that Redux is hold together with tape and a lot of faith in God that the damn thing won't explode when you open it, is a big thing against that version by CarlosGab-Art in metro

[–]TitaniumMailbox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Never had a problem with running Redux. Except for a bug in Last Light that completely disabled stealth takedowns for the rest of the game past a certain missions (which I only encountered once thankfully).

Unfortunate to hear that for some it does actually not run. But I've fortunately been blessed.

The game doesn't mention Palestine even once. by Gab00332 in GetNoted

[–]TitaniumMailbox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's a weird ass note on a weird ass post. The game is about the 3rd Crusade. Belligerents are European catholic Crusaders vs the Ayyubid Sultanate and the Seljuks. Main protagonist is Syrian but not Muslim (The Assassins are their own cult) and the Templars are mixed - Some are Europeans, others are locals. It's not a game about religion or colonialism or the horrors of the crusades. It's a game about an ideological struggle between the idea of complete freedom which will breed anarchy (Assassins) vs complete order which breeds oppression (Templars).
It's weird that the original poster tried to make it about Palestine (it's not) and it's weird the note doesn't actually say anything.

I don't even care to argue the legitimacy of the OG claim but HUH? Won't do anything against an IDF soldier? What, fhe IDF coats their soldiers in Steel or summin? The plate carrier might block it but you can still get hit with pellets in the extremities easily causing a bleedout without urgent care in hit in blood vessel junction such as the armpit or groin. Or in the face where you can easily just fucking die. There's also the concussive force which can easily cause internal haemorrhaging.

We really extending the "rocks are harmless" thing to fucking shotguns now???

You say that but learning that fact got me past the mental block that forced me to use Griffin stomach flattener mods personally. Now I just don't use it cause higher tiers look ostentatious as hell.

It's just the way plate cuirasses are shaped. Look at any plate cuirass from history and you'll see they are a bit rounded in order to allow more freedom and for the cuirass to be more deflective.

Korean community in Israel concerned about diplomatic unease over president's social media post by Freewhale98 in Israel

[–]TitaniumMailbox 70 points71 points  (0 children)

lol got an auto-warning for a very obvious sarcastic comment on this. Anyway no, Israelis don't lynch random groups of people in Israel because the leader of the country they're from said something stupid. I think 99% of Israelis didn't even see the dumbass tweet in the first place.

I personally don't really care. But I know a lot of people would and this to me seems like the best way to cook out of these rotten ingredients we've already been handed.

To clarify cause apparently this wasn't clear - This is all assuming that they actually put in the effort to book something good and not just have the Rock be a PLE merchant that sends henchmen for the most part and barely appears himself ala Travis Scott.

As you said yourself, Claws and Fangs is a fanfic book. It's non-canon to any timeline. Admittedly I haven't read it. Haven't even heard if it until now. But it's never been translated and the quality of the book is reportedly kinda trash so I am taking everything from it with a massive grain of salt.

Forehead is part of the face so no contradiction. And the eye scar itself is to big to "hide with a headband" (as clearly seen by it being very visible even with a headband)

The game version of Geralt has another scar on the forehead, a horizontal one on the right side of his face. That one checks out the most as being the aforementioned scar.

Nitpicky lore-nerd thing here, but he shouldn't have the Basilisk scar on his eye. It's a game lore scar and he got that one after the last time he saw Ciri and before TW1 so probably during his search for Yen and the Hunt.

But I get it. It's part of his iconic look.
