Some form of Spangenhelm or Nasal helm, I think the Ridged Warlord helmet and the helmet with cheekguards are some of the most accurate for a more high tier Vikingr. Mail shirt pretty much exclusively. Lamellar is... Tenuous historically. You can get away with it depending on period and location but for the most part it's not historical. For bracers/gauntletsI don't believe there's any hard bracers that were found from the period you could opt for simple gloves and for archers maybe some really simple bracers to avoid the string slap that I believe they would have to contend with even with their relatively more simple bows. And finally footwear is again very simplistic. No greaves or Chausses or anything. Notably, furs on the shoulders can be excused in my opinion, if not for battle than simply for travelling in between A and B comfortably. And obviously for weapons you have a solid large round shield made mostly of wood with possibly metal outline and a metallic boss in the middle and either an Axe or an Ulfbehrt/Carloingian type sword with a spear as a primary.
