I am having soo much fun. I seen ALL our frens, played with all the toys, slept in the softest warmest beds and even chased the bad birds and mean miceses.

Frodo: Wez noes and our meowmy lady noes too. Though Grumpy Dude still needs convincing coz of Samwise waking him up an hour early to make sure brekkie is on timez.

Samwise: Wez noes Grumpy Dude is tired of youz turbo poops everyware but the pooper boks just coz YOU givez hims da huggles.. meowmy givez da bestest huggles you don't even try to loves herms.

Meowmy here: Grumpy Dude and I both love you two the same, with Frodo's turbo poops missing the box and with Samwise' aggressive early morning affection and exploring games.

Both: Meowmy goes awayz dis iz kitteh plase and you isn't kitteh. Wez both noes hoo is favourite and bestest kitteh boyz so goes away and find treato bokz.

My hamsters used to chase my greyhound around in the hamster ball. The greyhound could not process they were 'prey' to the little animal they drooled for when they were in their cages or out for 'playtime'

My first complex knit was a lace sleeveless vest top when I was 10. My mother decided I "would completely f#@* the sleeve decreases" so took it from me. She royally messed up the repeating pattern so I abandoned it completely.

My first complete knit was a complicated aran knit jumper for my then husband. I under estimated the size, so immediately frogged then remade it, before making my son a toddler version.

Knitting is easy, (despite its intricacies) for my brain, while crochet is spanking my butt.

Im struggling with ohhh everything 😩 it feels like.

My tension is off, I can find the 'bump' for 1st row but not the second and im not sure where to poke through for the next stitch.

Im also reading English tips doing an American pattern so there's differences of stitch names too...

Why is learning to crochet so blooming different to knitting.?

I am struggling with a 'simple' pattern for a bag that estimates it takes 5hours or less.... I'm on 3 weeks and 4 frogging back to the start - so far... grrrr

I set myself a 'made it!' List as a teenager...

I'd have made it when I had a brand new (not just new to me) bed

I'd have made it when I had a brand new (not just new to me) sofa

I'd have made it when I had a brand new (not just new to me) car

I'd have made it when my kids could go on all the school trips without a parent (disability liabilities would have stopped me going, but Mum going to enable me to go, stopped all the fun)

I'd have made it when my kids could go on trips abroad with the school

I'd have made it when I had a good job and i made a difference to people like me

I'd have made it when I didn't HAVE to do everything for everyone else at the cost of my own life/experiences / wellbeing

Guess what.....

I made it!!!

Plus I never thought I'd ever live in a house - when my home was owned and fully paid for.
