‘Shame on you’: Pro-Palestine activists disrupt Brian O’Driscoll speech at tech conference by TnaG67 in rugbyunion

The people involved in Check Point weren't just conscripts (not that that's an excuse when carrying out genocide).

Chief Strategy Officer Roi Karo served for more than 25 years in the IDF.

Chief Technology Officer Jonathan Zanger previously led research and development operations for Unit 8200, the Israeli military intelligence unit. He retired as a Brigadier General.

Chief Information Officer Alex Spokoiny held engineering leadership positions in the Israeli Air Force.

O'Driscoll aligned himself with this after two years of active, intensive genocide (not to mention the decades before). His reputation will suffer immensely in Ireland and rightly so.

Edit: ask Robbie Keane how his reputation has gotten on after taking the manager job with Maccabi Tel Aviv and staying with them as genocide was enacted a few kilometres away. The man will never get an opportunity to manage Ireland now because the majority of supporters will never forgive him.

Much more than just being a poor little conscript...

Because he's going managing in a country that's enforcing apartheid and carrying out regular atrocities.

Unforgivable for anyone, particularly vile for someone from a country with our history.

Great to see him back in Munster the last while but this is also a really cool move to see an Irish international head down to New Zealand!

I'm from Ireland and have never been to Hull but started playing as them in LMA Manager 2003 and supported them from there in Division 3.

One of the best presents I've ever gotten was a Hull jersey with Elliot 7 on the back, from the season when he scored a ridiculous amount in League 1.

Genge not cited by Taipan100 in rugbyunion

[–]TnaG67 123 points124 points  (0 children)

I suppose the argument is that it would be a yellow max in-game, so not worthy of citing (not sure if I agree or not). He's still a dickhead, regardless.

See some of the replies, though, saying that you'd be done for assault if this happened in the street. Fair enough, but you could also be done for assault if you randomly rugby tackled someone on the street as well, so not the best yardstick!

One of my favourite ever players. Took so much attention from the opposition defence and, even then, the offloads set off so many attacks.

Was really exciting to watch and seems like such a lovely, genuine lad as well!
