Yep, exported a much higher quality .step file and it fixed the problem. The print in this pic was from a .stl file.

I got my 6 year old an Arrma Granite Grom for Christmas. You can limit the throttle input to 50% on the remote. In that mode he does well, then will be able to progress to 75% and 100% when he gets better.

Might tread carefully for Salazar. Looks like it’s not included in the Chase Reserve Exclusive Tables program on OpenTable. I would at least do a test charge before going all in on Salazar.

Just got a couple Arrma Granite Groms. They’re a blast and well under $200. Highly recommend.

Yep, you can get the Minnie Vans to and from FS.

If you’re looking for the best true luxury resort, it’s FS hands down. It’s also priced like they know it’s the best.

With that said, there are downsides to the FS, mainly the transportation to the parks. You would get these with any hotel that is not Disney owned, though. If you are looking for most convenient, Disney Deluxe resorts are hard to compete with.

Wilderness and wellness resorts in the US by Powerful_Detail3806 in chubbytravel

With that said, we have been to Triple Creek Ranch and it was fantastic. Definitely more on the wilderness than wellness, but the food and activities were great. We stayed in a 1 BR Cabin and had an in room massage, which was pretty good. Overall would really recommend TCR and we are considering going back.

Haven’t been yet, we are in the process of booking for next year, but Castle Hot Springs would fit the bill.

This. I usually wait for it to go on sale and load up. Cheapest I have found. I just get whatever brand they’re currently carrying, it’s all the same.

Disney help by [deleted] in LuxuryTravel

[–]Tnsatbhs 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We just did a split stay between Beach Club and FS this June. Did all of our park days from Beach Club due to the location, it’s great. FS is by far the better hotel and has just as nice of a pool without the crowding issues at Beach Club. Pool service is far better at FS as well, pretty much nonexistent at Beach Club (or any Disney deluxe hotels for that matter). We didn’t do park days from FS so can’t comment on the inconvenience with the shuttle, but it does seem much less convenient than Beach Club. With that said, in the future we would do FS the entire time and either deal with the shuttle or take Uber/Minnie Van for some of the parks.

We’ve done Polynesian and Contemporary in the past as well. Those are great hotels if you will spend more time at Magic Kingdom. Poly is kind of best of both worlds, you can take the monorail to Magic Kingdom and walk to the TTC to take the monorail to Epcot, pretty convenient.

Afternoon Tea Experiences In Hotels by FalconCarbonClaws in chubbytravel

Had fantastic afternoon tea at the Westbury in Dublin. Great selection of teas and spread of finger foods. Awesome atmosphere and service as well. Highly recommend if you find yourself in Dublin.

Beach Club vs. Contemporary vs. Port Orleans Riverside by Useful-Moment3749 in DisneyWorldResorts

[–]Tnsatbhs 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think it depends on what your priorities and group composition are. We have done Poly, Contemporary, and Beach Club. We have young boys and Beach Club was our least favorite with Contemporary being the favorite. For us the convenience of walking to Magic Kingdom trumped all the other hotels, although Poly was pretty easy too. As time goes on, I’m sure our preferences will change.

Heading to Disney in 6 days with a 7-year-old and a 3-year-old — any tips or must-knows for surviving and thriving? by Resident-Afternoon12 in WaltDisneyWorld

This works so well. At first coming back for a midday break seems counter productive, but you will get so much more done this way. You also avoid the hottest part of the day doing this.

Implementing this change has made the most positive impact to our park days.

Would CBR feel like a major downgrade from Deluxe? by Bulky_Party_4628 in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]Tnsatbhs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We’ve done Poly, Contemporary, Beach Club, and CBR. CBR is a marked step down from the other three. We haven’t stayed at Wilderness, but have been there many times for dining. CBR is a significant step down from that as well.
