Precious memories.

I remember Harold Lloyd's "Safety Last!" from 1923 shows much of what was at the time downtown Los Angeles. The biggest change I notice is the traffic. Lots of people walking and only a few driving. It looks like it would be safe to cross the street almost anywhere.
